The reason, as I've explained already, is that we were never meant to restart the Flash movie and thereby create duplicates of the images. You're obsessing over something that leads nowhere.

Yeah, I thought the Pike stuff and Kelvin came from Whois on 1-18-08.com and the sector seven stuff. But, it's been almost 1400 posts and some of the older stuff's getting jumbled. And at this point, I figured anything's worth a shot. We need to find something, but I honestly think we are working against someone else's time table.

Well, it's not very likely that AICN would fabricate something like this... in fact it's almost a guarantee that he didn't. Harry Knowels has developed a fairly big reputation in the hollywood industry (despite being the center of a lot of controversy), and someone actually contacted him about the Abrams message. He confirmed that he's been speaking with Abrams for years, and that it's confrimed legit.

In this instance, considering we have literally no evidence beyond the circumstantial to support a connection between Ethan Haas and 1-18-08, I'd take the JJ Abrams statement at face value.

If indeed this story was fabricated by AICN or it was a JJ Abrams imposter, I'm sure we'd find out.

And I doubt JJ would send that message just to mislead everyone. If he didn't want to confirm the connection, he simply wouldn't comment on it, rather than flat out say there's no connection.

It's just somewhat ironic that people are so skeptical of this being the "truth" from Abrams while at the same time remaining a believer on faith alone that Ethan Haas is connected despite no concrete evidence that it's in any way connected to 1-18-08.

 		401 Broadway?
Hey, at around 1:32 in the trailer, you can clearly see "401"
and not quite so clearly see what looks like the word "Broadway" right before a piece of something (the statue of liberty) explodes upon it. I don't live in NYC, but does that mean this is in Greenwich Village? Could we extrapolate an address using the 401 building and that lit up building? Sorry, if this is trout-y. Just throwing around ideas.

 		The scene wasn't filmed on-location, so the buildings aren't the same. The real 401 Broadway in NYC is downtown though, below Canal St.

So let's take a look at good ol' Rob. Smile

While everyone else is in that "Whaaaaaaa?" mode, Rob and Girl #2 are at the window. That's her eyeball peeking over Rob's shoulder looking back into the room in the same direction that Worried Rob is looking.



A very short time later, Rob's turning away from the window and Girl #2 is bolting somewhere in a real hurry. He's still got that really worried look.



She's gone somewhere and Rob is turning back toward us. Everyone's still wondering what the heck just happened, but Rob is giving us the worried "hand through the hair" move.



That's not the look of a confused man.



Now, to the roof. Folks are milling around talking to each other. One guy is explaining the "tremors" to another person and Girl #1. Rob is by himself near the edge of the roof. This is the very first frame we see of Rob up there.



And again, before the guy says that Rob maybe should have left town early (which gets a surprisingly relieved look from Rob).




Now, to the street. Folks are fleeing left and right, including the donut-shirted guy. Rob and Girl #2 are practically sleep-walking into the street looking left toward the commotion.

They are joined by Girl 1 who gets into a discussion, as people stream by obscuring it, with Rob about something back at the building. She's pointing there pretty firmly. Rob is freaked.



Still discussing, at least on her part, and pointing toward the building. Rob has stopped talking. He's now looking up the street toward the commotion. That, incidentally, is where Girl #2 has been looking, with terror in her eyes, the whole time.



*ROAR*

Uh oh. Methinks Girl #1 has spotted what Girl #2 has been seeing all along. Rob seems to see it, too, but his reflex is different.



Now Rob is ready to flat out...run? No..actually, when you watch from this point, he turns about a second after the roar that stuns Girl #1 and puts a shoulder into her to move her out o the street to the sidewalk. The camera pans back up the street and the SOL head comes winging toward us. There's about a three-second beat between Rob turning to push Girl #1 out of the street and the head entering our vision.



So what on Earth has Rob so worried when everyone else is confused? Why does he still seem frightened beyond what the scene might suggest?
What is Girl #1, who seems to be acting more like Rob than the confused or fleeing people gesticulating for in the building.
What has scared the bejeezus out of Girl #2 the whole time she's outside?

 		Has anyone looked up ABZ3293 in a license plate directory or search engine?

I've tried but all I can find are pay sites. Heck if I spend thirty dollars to look up a license plate from a movie trailer.

 		well this site is not helping my insomnia but 2 more things about the pictures.

anybody tried turning them like a combination lock? 1 right, 18 left, 08 right?

and also i have watched the trailer about 100 times now and ive seen the guy in the pink shirt briefly at around 38 seconds in his by the weird looking blonde bartender. in the same time the guy giving the shot can be seen against the back wall by the miss you sign.

the blonde is in the crowd in the trailer but ive watched it about 10 times specifically looking and have not at all seen creepy looking lady in orange with the 9 necklace or what ever it is.

anybody else noticed her throught the trailer?

Actually, tinag222 e-mailed harry Knowles about the Abrams e-mail. Knowles told her, basically, that he knew Abrams and had been interviewing him for about 9 years. He knew the guy well enough to say that he considered the e-mail legit.

 		I believe you guys are looking hard for a clue that isn't there. I think we should start over with these photos, the trailer, and the Slusho website and try to come at a different angle. All of this searching through registries and source code hasn't been that helpful. If there was another clue to be found, it wouldn't be hidden THAT secretly. It would be something that we could find with the naked eye, or just common sense. Going through the trailer, analyzing every second of actor's reactions isn't going to lead us anywhere, going through codings isn't going to do much, and over-analyzing these photos isn't going to reveal much that we wouldn't be able to see normally.
