Both the admin and tech contact have the same number on whois even though the address is in different states. On top of that a quick reverse lookup reveals http://www.anywho.com/qry/wp_rl

Also if you don't know who albert pike is take a gander http://www.threeworldwars.com/albert-pike.htm

And last but not least address isn't legit but E9th is about 3 miles from statue of liberty....

 		Very interesting photo work there, Tinag. It does appear that there's some weird monster/demon creature between the two...well, the one girl split up into two, anyway.

Just going out on a limb here, but maybe the movie has something to do with a monster/demon living inside us. And since one of the names being thrown around is "Parasite", it could be that the parasite brings out the violent, evil side of whoever it infects.

Again, just making some guesses. But I fully expect this to become a full-blown ARG at some point. Probably soon.

I would definitely expect this to become an ARG real soon here. The phone number listed for both Kelvin and Pike is the Aviation weather service out of Santa Monica, CA. We called it, and it just reads you the local weather, like for pilots. I tried some searching on Kelvin and only came up with a clothing design studio out of Australia that looks legit. This stuff can't just be random, I'm sure it will all start to mean something soon...

 		YouTube is freaking out over the trailer. I've heard it's a Voltron movie, I've heard it's a Godzilla remake, I've heard it's a tie-in for LOST.

Well, after watching the trailer a few more times, I'd like to clear something up.

People have been thinking that a guy says "It's a lion! It's huge!" at 1:19.

That is false. If you listen carefully, you can hear him actually say "It's alive! It's huge!"

The roar does not sound like Godzilla. Godzilla has a very distinctive roar, and this one is not similar.
Some people have pointed out that it sounds somewhat like the sound the Smoke Monster makes in Lost. Of course, JJ Abrams also works on that show, and the new season has been pushed to...January '08. Bad Robot is the company responsible for Lost.
So there may be some validity there.

However, this seems like an ad for a real movie, not just a tie-in with Lost.

I can't wait to see if we get a full-blown ARG, or something similar, like we did with Sector Seven.

 		I've heard (sorry, no link) that this is a super-secret film being directed by J.J. Abrams. It's being made in NYC with mostly unknown actors and the entire film will be shown from the point of view of hand held video cameras...much like Blair Witch. There's some speculation that the film is actually an adaption of Steven King's The Dark Tower series. Amazing that something like this can be kept quiet.

 		I've heard the Dark Tower thing too, and looked into it. It's completely unrelated, The Dark Tower isn't even in pre-preduction yet, and this movie is definitely NOT related. This is something new entirely, codenamed "Cloverfield" currently.

Oh well, even if there's no game, it still has the potential to be a kickass movie.

 		Okay, I've been very puzzled by www.1-18-08.com but I believe I've found another clue.

Along with the date ( 1-18-08 ), we see a time of 12:36 A.M. I did a google search for 12:36 ( with the idea of a biblical verse ) and heres what came up:

Have to disagree with you, DOTR.

Henry Kelvin's address is fake. There's no such addy in NYC... I should know, because I work in the zip code that's being described. The building numbers are between 1 & 100 on 9th street.

Knowing that, I called Henry directly, and got dumped into a pre-recorded loop that sounds like it was taken from an air-traffic-control center. I'm at work, and couldn't listen to the whole thing, but this seems like a big fat rabbit hole to me.

Anyone got the time to listen, record and post up here for postrity?

OK did more checking and trying not to be brooklahn for not reading all the posts Wink

Some Interesting facts...
When you resolve the domain name for 1-18-08.com you get ip 216.154.228.106. This IP belongs to Paramount and is the next IP behind cloverfieldmovie.com (216.154.228.105). .104 is for aeonflux. When using domaintools the ip shows 72.246.51.73 for 1-18-08.com which belongs to deploy.akamaitechnologies.com who
