Remember, at the time the letter was written he was unaware that anyone had found the slusho site. It may have just been a clue to let us know that the slusho track was the right one once we did find it. (Playing devil's advocate here, I really do think the donkey will be important.) I do think we should keep checking that page though. It's possible that the image above the donkey will change with time.

It was actually FOUND not Find. I also included the AICN in my anagram look-see, even though it was caps as an acronym of the web site Ain't It Cool News... so after taking out DOT it leaves the following letters- T H A A S S F U N A I C N

I have a lot of interesting words that can be made out those but we'd need an extension to follow the DOT first and then figure out the rest...

Its probably another straw but I'm thinking (and can't shake the feeling) that he was giving us a clue- beyond the fact that there are other web sites out there- something to help us find them (or one of them) maybe...

e-mail and !'s
multiple !'s

I noticed on the auto-reply e-mail (Slusho! loves your mails!! You Can't Drink Just Six!!!) that the !'s are placed in order from !, !!, and !!!. I checked the history site on Slusho and found the words that have one !, two !, and three !.

In order.

single !: Slusho, triumph, refreshment, satisfied, Whale, Ganu, else, find, earth, Slusho. The boy says 'Slusho Zoom!'

two !: All, freshness. The girl says 'Fresh for you!!'

three !: Whale, Six

six !: life

Not sure of the relevance. Seemed too odd to pass up from the e-mail.

If six is the number to pay attention to, is it possible one of the documents we've seen, perhaps history, is telling us to pick out letters. Not uncommon to know the count...just need to find the starting point. I tried six from the History page, however, it's nonsense words.

Just a thought.

Given that JJ Abrams is a fan of Star Trek (he is still making the next movie, right?), perhaps the roar could be an audio clue along the lines of Star Trek IV?

For those that haven't seen it, an audio signal was broadcast towards the oceans. On the surface it sounded menacing, but underwater it was whale song.

The Slusho history points towards an underwater creature, so perhaps some audio filters on the roar might produce something?

ALSO, if people are looking for anagrams in JJ Abrams letter, he did technically also capitalize AICN. Just a thought. (I see nelbot beat me to this one)

So, me and my co-worker set out to figure out the 1-18-08 pictures during our lunch break. He told me, "Hey, Brittany, turn the picture on top of each other and look at Rob's new face." I did it, and that demon/hair thing turns out to fit perfectly.

I think I saw this about 22423432 pages back, and nobody responded to the poster, but I did it again. It may just be this computer but when I got close to lining them up, it moved on top of Rob's face. No more ticking, no more movement after that.

All I did on this picture was brighten it.

It might just be your pc. I went ahead and tried it and the pictures still tick on my screen and it certainly didn't line up to his face on it's own for me. Anyone else try this?

(edited by me to remove extra spacing)

They were discussing the significance of the punctuation in the Slusho dedicated thread (go up one to the rumors directory, you'll find another thread just for the slusho topic)- but I didn't see anyone break it down bases on what words have how many exclamation points- you might share this with the people working there. It might also help keep information organized by subject.

Seriously guys, I think that 'demon' is just background. I dont think time should be wasted on it.

Now it looks like Rob is wearing The Bunny's head from Donnie Darko, in that last picture.
Personally I'm hoping to god that the monster is the Stay Puffed Marshmallow man xD

nidaba: Yes your right, that makes sense, the letter could of just been pointing to the slusho site.

What bothers me is, why are they thinking of a oven glove and a bit of cheese! Thats really odd.

nelbot: Sorry I ment found, I typo'd!

Another thing that was bothering me was the way that some of the debris was flying, almost like some of them were explosive rounds.

If you move the pictures a little they tick; however, if you click directly on a picture, and it's ticking, it will stop the ticking. As soon as you drag the picture again: more ticking. Just an FYI that I'm sure was previously mentioned somewhere but forgotten.

Ticking pictures

Alright after staring at the pictures for 3 hours straight and hearing that horrible slusho music (seperate tabs) I decied to over lap the photos with one directly on top of another so the other one couldn't be seen. I put the one of rob drink on top since it was the freshes image appeared on the site. Now that one pic seemed to tick more often than the one beneath it to a point. Then the two pics nearly lined up again one they reached around 120degrees from its origiinal position. then ll of the sudden the lower picture of the girls was moving more often that the upper photo. Honestly I have no idea what that mens but i figure I would just throw it out there and see if any one else can make something out of it.

Guys, maybe the mit and cheese is a reference to the kitchen scene in the trailer?

....off to work be back in 6 hours. Have some interesting thoughts.

Yall are making some sweeping assumptions here....

Why do you think Rob picked up the camera? It's camcorder Blair Witch style....and that scene, they're running down stairs in a hurry and the camera is just gonna bounce around....it doesn't necessarily imply it got dropped, it could just be moving...or whoever was holding it held it in that classic unfocused, distracted way, or turned it upsidedown, or changed hands, etc. and in that movement it got a shot of Rob higher up on the stairs and behind. Nothing about that scene makes it definitively clear the camera got dropped, but everything about it suggests that realistically in that moment the one holding onto the camera was more focused on getting downstairs amid a bunch of others going downstairs and no longer focused on getting a good shot....hence all the bumping and moving and scewed perspectives.

If you're holding it and shit happens and you take off running downstairs, at some point you will drop your arms down for balance, camera in it or not, and when you get situated, recover - that simple movement from the camera's perspective would be a raising up again from a lowered, as opposed to dropped, position. I've watched the trailer 50fuckin times and at no point on the trip downstairs is the camera stationary, it's always moving - and it's moving from its held position. When it gets Rob in the shot from having been behind, the holder could've just rushed by Rob down the stairs and the camera was jostled around and got recovered.

It's moving except for the one point where Rob picks it up.

The camera's POV is from ground (or near ground) level, next to the stairs (like, say on a landing next to the stairwell). You can see people running down and away from the right-hand side. Rob comes in from the left, uses his left hand to steady himself (on a stair, perhaps?) and picks up the camera with his right.

Then we're back to moving again.

The other one that's just a peeve is that the going away party is taking place at Rob's apartment. We don't know that and nothing whatsoever suggests it.

A couple things suggest it. First, the whole apartment is furnished "modern guy" style with personal touches that show that a guy lives there. Second, being that Rob is the focal point of the trailer, it seems a good bet that the apartment belongs to him. The decorations wouldn't have taken much time to put up if someone got Rob out of the place for a little while.

That said, it's possible that the apartment could belong to Rob and someone else.

Ok, I've read this whole thread. Been following it since I found out about the trailer a couple days ago.

Now this might just be me, and I could just be silly.

In the trailer the very first time you hear the monster/creature/roar/thingy I swear there is a word or words spoken right before it. Its not part of the music to my ears at it seems to be of the same loudness as the roar.

Just me?

If I was moving tomorrow, I would have my stuff packed today. At least my XBox 360. So, I'm guessing the belongs to either the guy who says "This is gonna be the best night ever" or to the guy in the Slusho shirt.

There is some sort of sound right as the lights go out and the first roar begins. I hear it, it sounds almost feminine, but it could be just a part of the roar.

Everytime you move one of the pictures it gets a new random movement speed (how often it ticks and how much it moves each tick), which sometimes is no-movement-at-all.
Try doing it one more time, and one more.
