 		okay more over analyzing of the pictures on the site.

the banner is made of photos.
the girl in the right hand corner of the photo is very intriguing to me. something about the gold swish.
the guy on the left is wearing what looks like a blue tie. the blue is similar (very) to the blue on the ethan haas site (the sphere...the lights...)
the watch/bracelet on that same guys hand just seems suspicious to me.

i don't know this is my first time getting into this stuff so ignore me if i'm geeking out

See....maybe I wasn't hallucinating after all. I'm not the only one seeing it.

As for what it is....don't know. But if it turns out to be the Slurpie Monster from Roswell carried to Manhattan on the back of a decepticon, I'm so outta here. Razz

Just for the record, I could've sworn there was some other thread on here with what started as a game and seemed to point directly to the slushie thing. What was that? Maybe one of the regulars will pick up on what it was and clear it up.


was that directed at me? because i the bootleg trailer that i'm using is such terrible quality that i could only get 3 working images that could be cleaned up a bit, these i've already used in my video's but here they are again.

BTW this is as clean as these are gonna get, i'll need a high quality version of the trailer to get anything better, so if you have one, let me see it!!

 		First time posting... like, ever, but I've been a lurker for a while. I've been following this thing pretty closely since I saw the trailer in theaters and I've got a damn good feeling it's Lovecraftian.

Abdul Alhazred was a pseudonym Lovecraft assumed in his early years.

From the Wikipedia article on Cthulhu:

In the Cthulhu mythos, a character Old Castro points to the "much-discussed couplet" from Abdul Alhazred's Necronomicon:

That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die.[16]

 		To clarify my previous post, the name Abdul Alhazred has several variations, but is supposedly intended to sound like "all has read", since Lovecraft was an avid reader. As another user pointed out earlier, this is the same name (with a slight variation) credited for Ethanhaaswaswrong. The myspace page features a single image of Cthulhu with this name.

If this is what it ends up being, then I will sob tears of joy. Lovecraft is my favorite author and the main reason I got into writing.

Also, where does Alhazred's name come up in all of this?

what about seeing if these people can be identified (visually that is) from the video. I think the chick with the bracelet is the one in the trailer. I'm making an assumption the suit guy is Rob but who knows for sure.

Someone asked previously if anyone knows when they added the pictures on 1-18....and got no response so I'm wagering no but klind was the first one to post that the site was updated....so that announcement came July 6 at 4:30ish pm. Not sure about the timezone set up, so it was before then and at least within 12 hours because I was on here til about 5am and zoned out but still had the 1-18 site up refreshing it periodically to see if anything was going on and it was static.

So they introduced a later picture first then updated a second picture with an earlier timestamp. Since it doesn't appear this still is out of the trailer itself, then it's got to be a shot from before the 'trailer event' part happens, which would make this going down just a minute after midnight.

Half an hour later comes a still shot of the distressed chick - or chicks? - so the incident in question going on outside must be happening inside this half hour window - or at least strongly suggests it does....unless the distressed chick is distressed over some other thing.

 		Gah, going to have to correct the Abdul bit. Looks like the only real time the name comes up is in the comments. I read earlier in this thread that the blog owner's name was Abdul... turns out it's most likely and actual user who did his research. Oi.

Thought I had something there. -__-

EDIT: I DID notice that the pictures don't JUST rotate counter-clockwise. I refreshed the page and now Rob's picture rotates clockwise.
