I'm sure the people behind that trailer, especially the scenographers, are quite impressed (read: chocked) by how this trailer is being picked apart and tracked down. Soon enough we will know what material are in them paper cups and what schampoo the actors used before coming to work that day.

Here is a straw:

Mystery St Sticker = New Orleans
Paddle on wall = AKM frat paddle
There is an AKM at the Xavie University of Louisiana and the Dillard University... both in New Orleans.

Eh, this could also just be hints to where he grew up in the movie, and OOG.

I've seen "Your Life Has Meaning" as pop art in this context stenciled up in Seattle a few years back - I'm calling this set dressing at this moment, like the fictitious set dressing "Ding Dong" (which is a semi-racist offensive Chinese Restaurant menu on the fridge).

I stand corrected on myself. The Ding Dong Lounge is apparently a hot spot in New York City (http://www.dingdonglounge.com/) and that may be a legit flyer from it.

Has anyone checked to see what the two girls are looking at in the picture on 1-18-08.com? If you look carefully there is a reflection in there eyes that could just be street lights but just to be sure can someone check it out?

All the fridge really does is further establish what kind of person Rob is - fraternityboy, the dong dong lounge regular, consumer of avant garde pop art, jazz festival in New Orleans-goer, to Japan-mover, etc, etc. Im sure the fridge has more leads, and they will all lead us to that.

Exactly.

Now, to another observation. The creepy girl has a white number 8 with an orange background on her shirt, while Eleven Bucks guy at the end of the trailer has a black 8 with an orange background in the upper right corner.

The hot air balloon that was revealed yesterday has a pattern of colors on it. I wonder if we look at numbers with color backgrounds, we'll find a number sequence from this that could be of use.

My money is still, however, on one of the characters revealed in the Slusho site having a myspace or website with a .jp(?) suffix being the next bread crumb.

honestly, i'm not convinced that this is an ARG.

has there been anything that has definitively said ARG?

the slusho site is barely confirmed. but it's not ARG, possibly viral, but not ARG.

we haven't had any hidden passwords, encoded images, or anything that is typical of an ARG.

it's either not very well done, or not an ARG at all...

surely we'd have found SOMETHING by now, no?

or we'll have to wait until they give us something new.

slusho thoughts
just an idea

somebody had mentioned the slusho horse wraps around in the water, on the history page. lead a horse to water, can't make him drink?

the fish doesn't, he (or her) goes through the border onto the page.

fish out of water? i.e. water monster, or something out of place (again), or nothing by my paranoid conspiracy theory mind running wild?

The horse also dreams of an oven mitt, and the fish of a piece of cheese, not exactly obvious clues, if they are clues. I'm thinking they were more going just for an off-kilter funky Japanese website than throwing clues at us. Time will tell.

Please let this be an ARG- I'll be PO'd if this isn't and boycott the damn movie if they are playing us.
