Sign above door on entrance, number 5?

So someone pointed out that you can see the sign above the door when Rob walks in but couldn't make out anything from it. I definitely see a "5" at the end.

Also, the clock seems to be the same time as it was in a previous post (11:15ish).

Viewable around 9 seconds right during the first camera flash.

Also, on the right when they're zooming in, is that a painting of a soda bottle exploding? Razz. at 10 seconds.

Probably not.

OK probably brainfart, but Maybee the movie is Gamra. Rob is a well off man and may be an arcaeologist specialising in Japanese myth. He is given an artifact that is Raptor claw shaped and while studying it an identical object in a Japanese office wobbled or reacted funnily. Rob is on the way to Japan to study it when a soft drinks company explodes. Cut to New York and we have Rob already packed object in his bags ready for the next day, the explosion coming from a creature just surfaced "tracking" what he believes is a giant Turtle. Maybee we will learn later in the movie that these claws were necessary in the preparation of the drink, which unbeknown to the factorys head office they were re-constituting Gameras old enemy "THE PARASITE"????

I dont know but maybee it might give someone an idea?
So Gameras rights are in the same hands as the 1998 Godzilla?

if i remember right, gamra (gamara?) mothra and the like were all part of the godzilla franchise, and owned by those people...which we found to be under contract hold until 2013

i think so, the '98 movie was made by renting the rights to gozilla from the japanese company that held the rights...i want to say sony, but i'm not positive...and from what had been research on the topic when it came up before, they aren't available again until 2013.

actually, i wondered something on slusho, and the cups at the bottom. they are at different depths away from us. look at the distance differences between the tops and bottoms of the cups. some are pulled closer, some are pushed away.

could that be a contect the dots from above? ...thoughts?

Something like this?

We've got the original image, and some cups to help see the proportions/scale, and then an estimate of what it could be from above. The right side is odder, because there are some cups that appear to be just bigger, since their bottommost pixel is in line with other cups while stretching taller.

To the morse person, is that like - - -+- --- - and -+ -+ + ---? I seem to remember from urban hunt that morse code without kind separations for letters is nightmarish, but that someone wrote a script to test possible variation in such a thing.

EDIT: I remember now that that's the sequence you tried, mysterious morse code user I don't recall the username of, based on getting 'sea astir' but if you take the last character as +--- instead of + and ---, that's a B instead, which could be an anagram of AIRBASE, which is familar or faux-relevant sounding to the whole cloverfield thing.

Address of Street Shot

I used google Street View to locate the landmarks in the camera shot down the street. By my best estimates, Rob lives near 478 Broadway (see google street shot) Note the blue awning, with the yellow sign, with the red sign underneath it. This was the only address at which those signs appear that way. Don't bother with the awnings right across from his door. The shots with Rob and them are filmed on a set. The shots down the street are filmed on location in NYC. How can I tell? All the landmarks line up in the shots down the street, which then quick-pan or cut to the shots with Rob and the girls. In those shots, there are no landmarks that match the street view. I scoped out Google Earth as well, and looking at the location of the big explosion, the angles line up. Feel free to check my facts on this information.

Someone should check out the block where 478 is located.[/u]

type Morse code into the top box using "." for a dot and "-" or "_" for a dash. Letters are separated by spaces and words by "/" or "|".

By the way, it's hard to see all the buildings in street view, because of the haze, and because the camera in the trailer is zoomed in pretty tightly, giving that distorted sense of perspective.

I posted Here that the street shot is actually a composite of Broadway and Orchard Street. the two streets run parallel to each other and don't intersect, so the actual location doesn't exist.
