This supposed Hair Monster just isn't getting it for me. It's so obscure that a lot of people can't even see it. It's less a clue and more like those stupid Magic Eye pictures. Some folks see it and, once it's seen it can't be unseen. Some don't. It's that latter part that disqualifies it as a meaningful clue IMO.

 		the 3rd pic is not that normal actually. its actually kinda weird looking too

tthe two girls are obviously in the foreground, but the two sillouettes in the back are kinda weird.

first of all, by looking at the feet, the faint sillouette is lower than the man running and therefore should be more in the foreground. But if you look at the dimensions of the two, the man running seems to be closer to the viewer than the other man becuase his shape is larger. One can say that the faint man is a child or a shorter man, but thats impossible, the head to body ratio negates tha theory.

Also, the man running is above a darker surface, which to the viewer seems like the ground. But behind the faint man, theres a lighter overlapping wall extending diagonzally out of the picture. WTF is that? a manhole vent? it obviously is not a wall because the runningman's elbow overlaps it.

Watever is exploding/flashing, its definitely creating sum weird physics in the scenes. The 3rd picture is obviously a doctored photo, the dimensions dont add up. its not a clue, but it definitely says that this movies gonna be a weird motherf****

At first i couldn't see it either, but then i stopped staring at it and i just looked and u can see a little gremlin, i'm sure it is there on purpose but i dont think its a clue to anything just a fun little hidden picture i guess

I saw it immediately. I don't think it's a clue. What would we do with it? Like the creepy stuff going on in the party pic, it's probably just there to set the tone and mess with us.

 		note that in the trailer at 0:28 seconds you can see a clock and its reading 11:15 Lots of time before the attack hits.. There is alot of time to play with before the 12:01 picture as well.

not seeing it? how could anyone not see it? THERE ARE DISTINCT FACIAL FEATURES AND A DISTINCT RIBCAGE AS WELL AS POSSIBLE LEGS! if you can't see it, you need a new monitor or glasses.

I already pointed this out awhile ago. You can see the clock right when Rob walks in and the cameras flash, and while the girl is talking. The clock looks to be at the same time so it might be dead.

Or maybe set to that time on purpose!

 		Hola peoples, I'm coming into this waaaaay late in the game.. Better late than never though, ey?

Anyways, I adjusted the levels a bit on the new pic and figured I would post it up here since this seems to be the most active thread on any forum that I've bounced across that's into this whole cloverfield thing.



Maybe I'll sign up here soon, god knows I've spent more time here today than my usual forums.. lol.

Yes...yes...yes. I understand that you see something.

I do not see what you see. I see the frizzy hair of a frizzy-haired girl lit from overhead illumination behind her. That's all I see.

I'm willing to allow that Distinct Ribcage Monster may be part of the movie in the end. If so, I will shower you with Hosannas. But, really. Come on.

We can clearly see some details on three of the four figures in the photo. That one seemingly male figure in the middle, though...

Unless the smoke is playing havoc with depth of field, he seems to be approximately the same distance away from us as the man on the left, but he's almost completely a shadow. There's no texture to him at all.

It could be that he's shaded because there seems to be a light source right above his right shoulder, but that light should have some effect on the woman in blue in the foreground, too, and it doesn't.

And there seems to be some sort of odd shape above that center man's head, moving off to the left. Not sure what that is.

 		so, has anyone commented on how in the 3rd picture, the chick on the far right not only looks straight out of the 60s, but the left side of her hip is so big it's going out of the picture? What's up with that?

Night. Hopefully we'll have gotten somewhere in the morning, if not JJ and his crew will still probably be laughing at us.
