 		the pictures on the 1-18-08 site only "pulse" or rotate after i've rotated them myself. just sayin...

I and a few others think that. The explosion (from the position of how it looks in back of woolworth but in front of municipal) seems to be in the same vicinity of the... what was it? I forgot lol it might have been the city hall

Yeah, I've said it before (as have others), I don't think the pictures ticking/pulsing/moving is a clue of any kind.

They only move after you move them with your mouse, and they only tick/rotate in the direction that you move them in. It reeks of a flash programming physics bug. I just think people are devoting wayyyyy too much time to worrying about the ticking/moving of the pictures.

Well, I can't argue with how you've marked the trail. Wow.

There is an untouched Japanese angle via Slusho that's not touched by this, but really...that's a hell of a chunk of research. It definitely bears keeping in mind.


Well, I am still up - and thanks.

I know there is that whole Pokemon/Nintendo guy being associated with slusho.jp's whois and that they also made a movie about that cthulu/godzilla pokemon monster and when released in the US was under the title 'Yog: some subtitle'.

And I guess Yog has a Lovecraft connection which goes back to Cthulu. It's all really too much, and tbh - these clues fight each others validity most of the time.

And that most likely means that we will be more interested in our own crazy fun-filled theories than what this probably ends up being, lol.

Oh well, I have had fun in this (my first ever) ARG/anything on the internet that isnt sports or a video game or poker/sleuthing session.

 		I don't think the "thing" on the curtain is anything. Looks like a damaged section of curtain, or perhaps a stain of some kind.

Ok, I'm quite lame at solving mysteries, but here's my take at the slusho website.

The customer feedback page says (in a rather agressive - or desperate - manner): Are you HAPPY ? Tell Slusho! RIGHT NOW !

And it's a japanese company, so...
How do you say "I am happy" in japanese ?

=> watashi wa ureshii desu

I mailed that to satoshiSPLATslusho.jp, but got nothing except the auto-reply.
Maybe my translation is wrong, cos' I don't speak japanese at all...

Another thing:
The words "Are you HAPPY ? Tell Slusho! RIGHT NOW !" make me think that "HAPPY" could not be an adjective, but a noun: what if "HAPPY" was a person, that someone at Slusho is desperatly seeking ?
Someone named "ureshii" ? Maybe we should look for someone named "ureshii yatoshi" ?
Or when the slusho FTP server ask for your name, maybe we should answer "HAPPY" or "ureshii" or "ureshii yatoshi"... ?

Umm... Well, as I said, I'm lame at solving mysteries... Rolling Eyes


P.S. : The smallest whale known is the Pigmy Sperm Whale (Kogia breviceps), and really, that's just a plain ridiculous name...

 		The curtain
The image on the curtain is the curtain pattern, probably in the shape of leaves or something, it is pretty common. You can find these types of kitchen curtains everywhere.

 		I was just curious because with colors inverted and upside down it looks like a face (from the painting SCREAM) and also looked to have wings or something but i am looking too far into it.

The most interesting so far that I found is The orb. It is not a solid color in the trailer it seems to hold electricity although it could be nothing but i do see it as odd.

To me it seems the curtin design is just that, if you look directly above it on the folds you can see another one, which makes it unlikely that it is a clue.
Also about the orb, watching it play in a loop it simply appears to be a plasma ball or glass ball with a light around it.

Im hoping this will become my first ARG, as I have long wanted to get in to this genera of gaming; gives you something good to do at night.
