Tkar, this is an illustration of a logical, valid trail. It may not lead to anything at all, might be dead ended by a check of the audio - on the slusho site NOT the 1-18 trailer. There isn't gonna be anything embedded like code in the trailer video.

Slusho music is available online and therefore open to checking to see if the music contains anything hidden, however they do that (I have no idea, that's way outta my range). It's a valid trail to explore and has potential to unlock new paths or trails, and it will make logical sense.

I'm also very interested to know if there's anything hidden in the music, but if not, we've eliminated one more and then all these things narrow in scope (like they seem to be doing and pointing back to the history section)....then again, that could be how it opens up.

There's a reason we can't steg the flash photos and why there's nothing embedded in source or the flash. The clues - provided there are any to begin with and we are assuming so given how it played out - isn't going to require manipulating the photos in a graphics program but instead looking at what we can simply SEE...

There are new threads we've put up to help:

1-18 reference thread, the slusho thread, the trailer/pics analysis thread, and a timeline thread. Also on the reference thread are links to a couple blogs on the subject.

There's been a 3rd photo added on the 12th to the 1-18 site too, and the slusho site has been updated/changed - same day even.

There's a new photo up on 1-18-08. And the Slusho site has some cosmetic changes.

 		I extracted the mp3 from the SWF. and uploaded it here.

its only 3 seconds long. 3.03x to me more precise. anyway, perhaps people with audio processing skills, like on CSI or cryptology experts can recognize a pattern or something.

JJ likes numbers right? maybe its a code in the notes, and again, I'm thinking 6 is a key to what we should be looking for, i'm guessing its the next website.

The only software I have for such purposes is Audacity i'm playing with all the filters now to see what i can find.

 		First i agree that when the trailer was first shown in the cinema that it was a one time deal,but surely JJ etc would know it that it would get recorded by phone and find its way onto you tube etc and because being JJ had a hand in it speaking of someone who has many times watched replayed slowed down rewatched etc an episode of LOST which i consider part of the fun watching a show like that.
This trailer would be analysed more deeply than they do on a csi murder.
JJ has said that so far we have only found one site pertaining to cloverfield there are many sites to find.

Stop attacking my findings, there is no bad ideas in a think tank, which this pretty much is. Grow up, and ignore the ideas or improve on them. I am not here to argue I made an account to post some findings, and that was followed by 5 ZOMG posts, so I kept at it. Sorry for trying to post helpful or logical (or otherwise) findings.

And if you want to argue, I haven't 'ripped' a frame and don't even know how lol. All of the things I mentioned stemmed from OTHER PEOPLES FINDINGS. This includes, but it not limited to, pictures, sounds, words, theories.

I will not argue anymore. My findings will continue because of the PMs I have received from a TON of people that obviously are too scared to disagree with you in forum. Perhaps bcause of your style of posting, which you seem to be unaware of.

If I have offended, due apologies rendered. Stop analyzing everyone's posts and make some of your own that are filled with substance, and not grading on one's findings that may or may not even reflect my opinions.

Oh ok, i know what you are talking about, i thought you meant the photo on 1-18-08 that someone photoshopped. It could very well just be smoke.

There are bad ideas when some of the facts are wrong. Wrong facts lead to wrong analysis. You've gotten a couple things wrong about your Biblical references.

I am sorry if you didn't see RIFT, ACE 2004, and DEAD all spraypainted clear as day, but I did the first time I saw the trailer.

A couple things.

1.) Did not see it addressed that the SOL head did not necessarily have to come straight from the SOL body. He, she, it... the thing could have carried it.

2.) You don't believe J.J. Abrams could have said that? The guy is a pretty down to earth guy. Likes comics, scifi. He's one of us. Just because he's a respected producer for Hollywood doesn't mean he's not going to say 'if our movie doesn't kick major ass'.
