 		The beautiful thing about all these minds together is we each bring different perpectives and differnt expertise to the table. This is what The producers want. especially the peopel who produced the Lost ARG.

so here is my perspective.

It is fair to assume, that they will play a similar game. it can't be the same, because this isnt an ongoing story like Lost is, its a single 2 hour movie, no one has even seen yet.


Okay so here is what i see so far.

Stage 1
we all see a trailer with 1-18-08 printed at the end, plugging that into the search enging produces, 1-18-08.com. the first official site.

the second image has man in slusho shirt, we go back t the trailer, hand confirm it is indeed a slusho shirt,

now we are lead to the next stage.

it is my guess the next step will involve site one plus site 2. to find site 3 with a possible confirmation from the trailer.

thats the pattern I see, it is logical and makes the most sense to me.

a few things I learned about the lost experience, (I didnt play, i'm only seing it hindsight) I read from here:

I'm doing my best to apply as much of that to this and see how much of it matches up


thats it for now, I need to get ready for work, and no doubt there is going to be 8 kazillion new pages when I get back.

Because they didn't turn the music back on.

When you're playing a CD (or an iPod), and the power goes out, It doesn't come right back on and start playing. After that, though, they turn on the television to find out what might have happened. It wouldn't make sense to have he music pumping while trying to hear the television.

I didn't mean to suggest that you were suggesting Laughing just running with a line of thought.
I guess it never crossed my mind that this thing might not have arms/tentacles/opposable thumbs lol.
Maybe... it tried to eat the statue of liberty by biting the head right off and upon realizing that it tasted like poop sandwich, spit it out... with some force...

i'm done speculating on that now.
it's just fun to f*** around with ideas until we can figure out something substantial.

And I'm sorry if you didn't see like page 12 somewhere of this thread where a member native to the area pointed out that the 2004 ace business was little more than a graffitti artist's tag and one that lives IN NY and has graffitti/vandalism (depends on your view) all over the place and has for years, as opposed to ARIZONA where mista ace resides, and the serious lack of a likelihood that they're gonna repaint NY city street or apartment location they are using, as opposed to owning or creating, in order to make it fit in their movie....as opposed to leaving it alone and having it support the overall personalities of the artsy yuppie group.

We did see the street sign with 'dead' on it...but in and of itself there is nothing much you can do with it. IF. however, it had been shown in some other, long since done, flick of Abrams and was memorable in some way, then there would be a higher shot of somebody seeing that, and like slusho, going *ohhhh, that sign! I remember that from Abrams show...whatever* and then following that LOGICAL path.

Otherwise, graffitti is as graffitti does and it's just setting.

Cause they're in NY and that's all over the place ANYWAY.

This is interesting (most likely unrelated) there is a council that is named ACE, the American Council of Education, which gave its best Adult Learner award to Jay Hillenburg, a man who started his career as a member of the U.S. air force in 1982, he recieved the adult learner award in 2004. Soooooo in 2004 a man who started out in 1982, recieved an ACE award. That is a weird word coincadince IF the sign in the trailer is 1982 2004 ACE. Completely unrelated... just puttin that out there.

I'd say tentacles were still in the mix. If you were a huge creature, I mean HUGE, your tentacle could snatch the SOL head, swing around in a looping arc, then let it go down the street. It'd have plenty of velocity, but you wouldn't be throwing it that far.

Unless this was another scene filmed in LA, like the scene where the SOL head comes flying down the street.
Not saying it is, or isn't- but who's to say they didn't recreate that part, regardless whether there was a reason behind it or not.

Don't be so quick to sh*t all over everyone's ideas.
If you weren't on set, or don't know where it was filmed, you can't say for 100% sure if the ACE was there already, or if it was put there.

I don't know either way, I wasn't interested in the whole ACE thing- what I am saying is there's no need to be a douche about it.

ETA: I am 7.5 months pregnant and hormonal and feeling a little maternal, just to explain.
but seriously.
there's no way to stop someone from speculating. This is supposed to be FUN, I mean... it's a GAME. we won't get anywhere by crapping all over eachother.

 		Also i will check everyday till one of the sponsors of the ACE film festival 108films has a website up and running.

Has anyone looked at the Tribble Ad Agency website theres a few posts that seem quite interesting.

can anyone else list what they are doing every day we will crack this if we all pull together.
