I listened to the audio clip that was posted, and I don't hear a woman's voice, but that's probably just me.

Regarding the audio, though, the popular consensus seems to be that at the beginning of the trailer, before we see any video, the woman says "Guys, he's here, let's go." I don't hear it- I hear a name, but I can't make it out. Maybe "Wise" or something starting with an "F." Hard to say. But if we could get Rob's last name, I'll bet we could make some headway. You know our main dude probably has a MySpace we don't know about yet.

About Mystery St.- Everyone agrees that the stickers on the fridge came from the jazz festival in New Orleans. They look identical to the picture of the sign we've seen online. But *why* would someone make a sticker (or two) of a sign that's basically telling people how to exit the festival? If the sign were a piece of art or something, I could see it, but it's not- it's just a big ol' vinyl sign. Which makes me think that there is some significance to the stickers being in the trailer. Y'know, several Lovecraft stories took place not in New England but in New Orleans (and the surrounding swamps).

And even though Nighthawk posted some redundant information, I'll agree that I can't imagine what would cause an explosion of that size. Even worse, why did the building explode and catch fire when the SOL head hit it? In the real world, things don't just explode when you throw something big at them. The head is basically just a big lump of copper, and unless it just happened to hit a room in 401 Broadway that was filled with C4, I find it pretty damned unbelievable. Aside from a giant aquatic monster attacking NYC, that is.

Maybe it's just the whole "explosions sell movies" slant that seems to be pervasive today. But I was hoping this film might move away from that.

I think the videos that you are referring to are from nightowl3090, not Nighthawk, unless Nighthawk has some videos on their blog that I haven't seen yet.

Just want to say thank you to imilan for the sound clip and ask if anyone can get a few more. It's much easier to listen to in individual clips.

Perhaps Sephora (the store they are placing on the set that doesnt belong in the real life street address in NY city)will be the first one involved. Who knows?

I believe our biggest clues shoudl come from the pics. Like someone stated earlier, only those privy to certain technologies or knowledge will find the hardest clues.

Well that only means that the easiest ones will be findable by all somehow. So thats what hes done with 1-18-08 I think. Its something the pictures is telling us (perhaps turn the scenes into words somehow). They are giving us the pictures, either to advertise, or to make us think there.

Theres very few reasons he would have EVERYONE on the movie under legal gag orders:

- The plot wont sell without the hype
- He's setting up a system of clues and trails (game)
- He's weird
- All of the above

I just spent about an hour playing around with the infamous map shown in the trailer just before everyone starts watching the newscast. I was hoping it might be a map of a part of Honshu, but no such luck. I'm 100% sure that it's a map of Manhattan (on the right) and New Jersey (on the left). The part in the middle (probably a reference or key of some sort) runs straight down the Hudson River. Here's the area portrayed in the map on Google Maps:

All of the red marks appear to be in Jersey (Hoboken, Weehawken). It's interesting to note that the marks seem to coincide with the Jersey sides of the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels. Maybe Rob is some sort of a structural engineer? Stretching, I know.

*Disclaimer: I have never been to any part of New England and have no idea what I'm talking about, really. If a native could verify this, it would be much appreciated.
