The only thing they're missing from the list are reptiles...

They've got the avian, the mammal, the amphibian, and fish. Just no representation from the reptilian species on the Slusho site.

...as far as vertebrates go...

Um... I think it might be a joke. "We have checked our employee database and have no record of these people [Ethan Haas & Van Mantra] on our staff... it's all very puzzling to us."

ie. We have no idea who the heck Haas is and why you associate him with us.

Besides, Haas has been clearly linked to a Angels/Demons tabletop RPG called Alpha and Omega, made by Mindstorm Labs. Paramount removed Haas vids from the web "due to the fact that many Van Mantra videos were labeled as "Cloverfield Video" or "Ethan Haas-Cloverfield", making it probable that You Tube merely removed the videos due to the them simply containing the term "Cloverfield" somewhere on the video page

The message is in the bottom half of the PDF which is password locked down, but you can highlight the hidden text and then roll over to expose the words as posted in the blog above. Unfortunately this links back to The Ethan Hass/Van stuff. But as you say Triton linked to lost experience then why would Triton PDF mention Haas. All very confusing.

I've done some digging in Google Earth, but not enough. Anyone feel like digging in?

Since no one else seems interested in following this lead, I've taken a few moments myself to check it out.

At approx. 63 degrees south x 63 degrees west, you find a little island known as Smith Island. It is the westernmost island in the South Shetland Islands chain.

These are basically barrier islands for antartica.

And, in case some of you missed the reference, a Shetland is a miniature horse.

Directly north of the island chain lies the South Shetland Trough, and undersea valley.

The islands are a hotbed of whaling activity.

This seems like it should be investigated further. Perhaps some connection to oven mitts/mittens, and/or cheese of some kind.

On the cheese note: Someone earlier said that gloves like those are not only used to handle hot items, but could be used for very cold items as well. I think we shouldn't take the cheese at face value either. What else looks like cheese deep in the ocean? Coral? A frozen meteor?

I can safely assume that unless Alpha and Omega (the roleplaying game) and by association Mindstorm Labs are connected somehow with Cloverfield/Paramount/Abrams (a movie tie-in is all I can come up with), then there is no connection.

I don't see how LOST is connected to Triton. Somebody give me a valid connection (not "I heard it on a forum somewhere"), and maybe then I'll consider EthanHaas valid.

Pure Speculation

Please bear with me (no I'm not sitting here naked) on a little speculation.

What if, the sites are related.

And say that the orb in the HAAS puzzle which creates the impact crater that looks very much like a major city in the background, say New York, came in on a trajectory that like a bowling ball hit the Statue of Liberty in such a way that it launched the head into the air, giving sufficient time for all those at the party to hear the preceeding air/shock wave of the globe (possibly entering the atmosphere) then get to the roof in time watch the impact crater develop in the distance and get down the stairs in time to see the SOL head come down and bowl along broadway. This is then reflected in the amount of dust that is generated in the latest picture, which does not seem relay any real sense of panic in it.

Feasible?!?!

I played The LOST Experience, I lived TLE, I moderated the forums here during TLE, and I can assure you that there was no Triton Enterprises in play during The LOST Experience.

Bingo. Thanks for clearing this all up. With the Triton thing out of the way and the overwhelming evidence against the Cloverfield/Haas scenario in my above posts, I think we can put this mix-up from hell to rest.

How did Haas become associated with Abrams, anyways? I single misquote or false idea and the 'net explodes...
