like Al101, i could maybe see the character with the 'hand' moving along, holding something stuffed inside his/her jacket front - there's nothing showing on top, that i can see by adjusting the levels.

But, i can't really glean any meaning from that pic. I think i'll wait until Comic-Con now.

could be, but if that were the case then the series of tubes wouldn't be getting dumped on.

Look at the angel of the police officer woman's elbow. It's angled so that I think it's going behind her. try that pose and look at your elbow. Your elbow's angle should be pointing more toward the ground than her's is. Also look at were the base of her 'hand' is. what kind of long sleeved outfit hangs perfectly straight down from the wrist when it's turned at that angle? (If that sounds confusing wear a long sleeved shirt and try getting the cuff of it to hang off your wrist straight down like she has it).

Now that I've explained why I don't think its her hand, I also don't think its a tear. wierd huh? But the seperations between rips (the black outlines that people are assuming are shadows of her fingers) are way too long. Tears meet each other much shorter than that.

Quick question, if she's cradling something why can't I see her right hand, and if its under her coat then her right hand is definantly off to be cradling it. Its neither going up the coat or outside the coat.

I see it zoomed in. I don't know what it is but I think it's just a small dog. Or a weird baby.

I don't think she's an officer either. That's just a belt buckle, and she's wearing a baseball cap.

Maybe she's cradling a bag that someone dropped! It might have an iphone, an ipod, a cool DSLR and maybe some health and beauty magazines. Maybe the person left their wallet in there too. And some cash!

If we can trace the bag owner then........

If shes cradling anything wouldn't we see her hand below it in the front? especially if what shes cradling is inside her uniform her hand would be in plain sight.
All i see in front of her is her left hand and that white spot where here belt buckle should be (which I'm sure it is). Unless she loves Michael Jackson and is wearin one glove as a tribute

looks like Boobs McGee has something in her hand. Or her hand is bleeding? Or she's got a fistful of cranberries? There's definitely some red in there, could be important or it could be me just pointing out something completely irrelevant.

maybe she's pregnant, and that's why she's leaning on the car to catch some breath... the other arm behind to hold her aching back. The soldier guy is turning to tell her to get a shift on (or to ask if she needs help )

the words straws and clutching are in my head at the moment.
