I refuse to believe that JJA saw all the message boards (and he did see them, believe me), and said to himself: "Wow, this small viral marketing campaign is really blowing up... hmmm, maybe we should post another picture that doesn't explain anything..."

Something IS coming. Either that or it's already out there and it's hard. very hard.

I guess comicon is the thing to wait for. With a movie title we'll have at least another week of URL fishing. And then there's only like 5 more months to wait until the actual movie comes out.

I apologise if this has already been mentioned / covered, but has anyone seen http://r1ft.com/?

Someone on a livejournal discussion found it after noticing the word 'rift' behind the bartender's head in the trailer. I have no idea what all the numbers correspond to. Any ideas?

R1ft.com seems to be a RP site relating to hobbits.

So unless this movie is LOTR 4: Sauron takes new york I'm going to say its unrelated, unless of course somebody from the clan worked on the movie and wanted to give a shoutout to their people.

looks to me like the soldier is screaming at the lady to do something, and shes like " o no u didnt", typical comical relief. OR since that person behind the running lady does look like abrams, perhaps its not even a scene from the movie, just them talking about the upcoming scene they are gunna do and going over their lines, and shes clearing her throat, and that running lady didnt wanna be in the shot, and abrams as well.

one of those "wheres waldo?" moments perhaps
