Hey, I skipped some pages (didn't want to read it all while I was away), but didn't someone perform an audio spectrum analysis on the second or third roar and find numbers and letters (possibly a license plate) encoded in the audio just a few days ago?

Was that debunked or what, because I thought it was pretty promising.

It was actually the first roar we checked. In the left channel there was the roar under half a kilohertz, and the sound of the car alarm near 1.6 kilohertz; the right channel had a series of "dashes" where the car alarm sound was digitally added into the soundtrack at near 1.6 and 2.0 kilohertz; with both channels superimposed on each other the dashes and the car alarm sound form what look like letters, but it doesn't look intentional. You can find better examples of spectral analysis, including one from TLE which are unmistakable as clues.

I also took the liberty of viewing the 2nd and third roars, as well as the sound the SOL head makes as it whips through the air, and the sounds during the ending credits; nothing stood out as being unusual.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

And yes, 1/18/08 fan, it is possible that there is more than one monster, although no one can be sure of anything. A semi-popular theory that's going around is that the monsters are actually the Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz of Judeo-Christian lore, but I'm under the impression and opinion that there is only one monster.

I'm not finding anything about Rob going to Japan. I was all excited, but there's nothing really to go on. Can anyone think of any clues as to WHY Rob's going to Japan? Is it for work, fun, vacation, or is he moving there? And JJ Abrams purportedly said that the clues are in "It's alive! It's huge!" which just doesn't make any sense to me. How is a comment on the biological and size status of something a clue? Hmmm... I'll keep wracking my brain to come up with something huge and alive.

but: "Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz" are def related to this ethanhaas, antichrist...stuff, and you guys keep saying it`s not related to cloverfield,
...as I do,
and the theory is old (at all good, but old)

I think jj comes up with something new, and that`s funny: the whole thing is that interessting because of the fact jj is producing it, but so many people think: oh it`s a remake of this or that... strange

in fact: im watching this like almost 3 weeks, and I think you`re all doing great, but in fact: we know so less, what do we know for sure?:

a trailer (whatisthisineedtoknowmore)
a picture side (four so far - not saying much)
a slusho! (history and strange animals)

and monstrous will not be the title

About Japanese airports

Hey, I'm checking the Oceanic Airlines page, and does anybody know the airport code of a prominent city in Japan?

Tokyo, Japan- Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND)
Tokyo, Japan- Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT)
//edit:

Sorry, didn't see the addition, AfterDystopia.

Just my two cents about the airports. I was in Japan for four years in military service. From my experience there and those of my comrades, like 99% of any American who flies to Japan (the main island japan) is probably going to one of those two airports, or (even less likely in this situation) to one of the Air Force bases (as they fly service-members and families all the time, but there's only two I can recall at the moment).

That's all I can think is that there must be some sort of website out there, and JJ Abrams supposedly said as much when he said that the only site that had been FOUND was slusho and 1-18-08. And then he said the stuff about "it's alive! It's huge!" I just don't know what to think. I've never worked on anything like this with SO LITTLE to go on. It's actually rather discouraging.

A couple responses:

First of all, it has been proven Haas is in no way linked to Cloverfield. It is in fact an ARG for Alpha and Omega, a tabletop RPG by Mindstorm Labs.

http://www.ffxiresource.com/devel/ethanhaas/

Conclusive proof.

And what makes you so sure Monstrous isn't the title? Can you back up your claim?

EDIT: Wait, sorry, I misunderstood you. Nevermind...

i can't remember if anyone sent "it's alive! it's huge!" through an anagram server... but this caught my attention...

Geisha Lute Visit

probably nothing at all, but Rob is going to Japan, Geisha are Japanese, and the Lute is a Japanese instrument. maybe just odd coincidence...

Yea but going the other way is damn near impossible from Geisha Lute Visit => It's Huge, It's Alive.
