If this is a repeat post, I'm sorry, but I haven't the time to go through over three hundred pages.

Now, is it just me, or does that Liberty head seem a bit small to be from the actual Statue of Liberty? It seems to me that it would better fit a scale replica than the original. Plus, it doesn't have the green look of oxidized copper, but instead looks more brown, almost like stone.

Series of events

I agree that its too early for rob to book a flight, so start ill checking out the oceanic-air.com when the site has been updated.

I think the timestamps of the pics in the 1-18-08.com stresses out about the timeline of the events. The series of events ends at the monster attack, before that is the we'll miss you rob farewell party, before that rob is going to japan, before that his friends plans a suprise party, what happens before that?
"The end is the beginning"?

Since, they shoot some of the scene in coney island, maybe theres a blog out there saying about a trip going there. It could be a blog of one of rob's friend since, they are one of the tiny pieces of this puzzle, like the slusho guy led us to slusho.jp . Lost and alias has these story arcs, why not this arg? If only I knew the name of the slusho guy, i bet he could connect us to robs trails.

Either way, that's not why I am posting now. The head is irrelevant in comparison to this.

Again, this has probably been revealed already, but I just saw this video over at YouTube and it seems to make a lot of sense:

As I was considering the possibility of three ancient creatures bringing forth the apocalypse, I had a startling revelation. Those very three creatures hold vast similarities to the Great Old Ones of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos.

To put it simply:
Behemoth = Cthulhu
Leviathan = Dagon/Hydra
Ziz = Well, this one is harder, as Lovecraft didn't very often take to the air

Or perhaps the three roars come from but one monster: Cthulhu.

I know it is a bit of a stretch, but if one were to pull off a Cthulhu movie, this would be the way to do it. I know I'm merely hyping myself, but this seems to me to be a great possibility, albeit an otherwise unoriginal one. Nevertheless, if it does happen to be The Great Old One, then we truly are doomed.

Look, it has already been anounced that this is an original creature, not Cthulu or a Lovecraftian movie! And the statue head is actually the size of a minivan roughly, about twenty feet high and teen feet deep/wide (?) and it is almost if not exactly that size in the movie, you can tell by comparing to the black suv it lands on/near. so stop posting obvius and or stupid crap

Ok i am new so many of you may not take this with any grain of salt. Nonetheless...
I have been scouring over these pages since the trailer came out (along with many other forums), and this anagram idea caught my attention. I worked on it for awhile, and may have found something.
An anagram for "I saw it, it's alive and it's huge" can equated to "I guessed it, i saw Leviathan" or "I saw it, I guessed Leviathan." Take it as mere coincidence, but I think that is quite a big find, especially to those who are rooting for this to be Behemoth, Leviathan, and Ziz.
I also apologize if this has been discussed before.

Perhaps its time for a moderated facts only section, where only factual with basis posts are held and the mods remove any that are shown or prove to be baseless, then aleast the now newcomers might be pointed at that thread for a jumpstart on all the speculation of the 700 or so posts here so far. Because I know I'm getting tired of seeing the same old speculations going round and round and round, is it Cuthulu, is it Lovecartian, is it biblical, could it be japanese legend, is it Voltron, a new transformers or Jason strikes back the early years, Will it be big, or will it be small, I see dead people, I know its spiderman the vulcan mutant ninja batfish. According to what?

According to the people who run the Statue of Liberty, the head is only 10 foot wide.

Looking at the trailer, the taxicab that the statue is rolling into is less then half the size of the head's width. The taxi, your standard crown vic, is 4.8 feet tall.

Let's do the photograph times as military time. So, in chronological order, the times would be 00:01, 00:36; 00:48, and 1:24. In order of photograph appearance, they'd be 00:36, 00:01, 00:48, and 1:24.

I leave it as an exercise for the intrepid trailer-watcher with some free time to tell the group what happens at those times, using the "Paramont Logo" appearance as 00:00.

I was sitting here, at work, thinking to myself about the possible meanings of the time stamps. I agree that the fact that the first two pictures are chronologically out of sequence is likely key here. But how are they important?

What if, and I realize that I am reaching here at best, if you added a number to the timestamps that correspond to the sequence in which they were posted:
12:36 -> 1:12:36,
12:01 -> 2:12:01,
12:48 -> 3:12:48,
1:24 -> 4:1:24,

alternatley if you use the 24hr clock you would have:
00:36 -> 1:00:36
00:01 -> 2:00:01
00:48 -> 3:00:48
01:24 -> 4:01:24

I am not sure what this acheives (minor setback). Perhaps they are coordinates (hr:min:degree), or perhaps they point to an website (IP address).... place the number in order and you get:

10036200013004840124,

drop all the zeros and it becomes,

136213484124

I do not know much about IP addresses and such, but does anybody know if this is feasible?

Any single number in a four number set IP address cannot go above 255 as that is the largest number you can make with the eight digit binary 11111111.

There is no way to separate that number into IP-like segments without separating a number that is greater than 255.

Anagrams

Hey everyone, new here. First foray into ARGs for me, though I've been lurking since about page 100 or so! Been interesting so far Razz

Thinking about the clues in the trailer and one of the photos: The first part of the trailer is definitely about Rob, with emphasis on him leaving and that people will miss him. The camera pauses on the poster "We'll miss you Rob". One of the girls says "gonna miss him" and the 1st/2nd photo is of Rob in front of the same poster "We'll miss".

Playing on this Anagram thing, any anagrams from "We'll miss you Rob" or "miss Rob"?
