Geisha Lute Visit

probably nothing at all, but Rob is going to Japan, Geisha are Japanese, and the Lute is a Japanese instrument. maybe just odd coincidence...

Ok i am new so many of you may not take this with any grain of salt. Nonetheless...
I have been scouring over these pages since the trailer came out (along with many other forums), and this anagram idea caught my attention. I worked on it for awhile, and may have found something.
An anagram for "I saw it, it's alive and it's huge" can equated to "I guessed it, i saw Leviathan" or "I saw it, I guessed Leviathan." Take it as mere coincidence, but I think that is quite a big find, especially to those who are rooting for this to be Behemoth, Leviathan, and Ziz.
I also apologize if this has been discussed before.

Hi, I'm new too. Very sorry if this is stale, but...

People keep trying to find anagrams of the line, "I saw it, it's alive, it's huge!" But, the line sure sounds like "We saw it, it's alive, it's huge!" - a trivial distinction in terms of story, but not in terms of an anagram. Listen to the line again in the trailer.

Look, it has already been anounced that this is an original creature, not Cthulu or a Lovecraftian movie! And the statue head is actually the size of a minivan roughly, about twenty feet high and teen feet deep/wide (?) and it is almost if not exactly that size in the movie, you can tell by comparing to the black suv it lands on/near. so stop posting obvius and or stupid crap

I hate to be a party pooper, but what evidence do we have that this is an original creature? I've heard that is just isn't a remake of a previous film. I didn't hear anything against a literature/movie crossover.

Hmm so we know Japan is somehow related: Rob going to Japan, Slusho site, etc. So if we are assuming that this creature(s) somehow originated from somewhere near Japan, why is it in New York now? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be in a west coast city?

Just thinking out loud. Maybe we are looking at it wrong or something. Just something about that doesn't make sense.

Unless the monster(s) are specifically targetting Rob for some reason.

why does the slusho site have to hold canon to the movie? couldnt it just be pointing us to some site that reveals what ever it is we are looking for? So far this whole thing doesnt seem to have that strong of an ARG feel... I guess we will have to wait untill comic con to see if this gains momentum.

Here's another might be relevant post, guys. But hey, whatever.

I started actually playing with some numbers, but nothing too complicated. First I decided that the letter sequences AKM ACE ABZ were linked with the pictures on 1-18-08 because the time stamps ended in A (as opposed to AM). Also for good measure I threw ROB into the pile, and then 163 because that seemed important at the time. I then added the numbers and numbers' digits together (picture one had a hidden 4 also):

ROB - 18,15,2 +17/35
AKM - 1,11,13 +7/25
<news>1,6,3 +10/10
ABZ - 1,2,26 +11/29
ACE - 1,3,5 +9/9
pic1- 12,36,1,(4) +10(14)/49(53)
pic2- 12,01,1 +5/14
pic3- 12,48,1 +16/61
pic4- 1,24,1 +8/26

The pictures are in the order they appeared. The only link I could find here was between the news thing and pic1 with the number 10. These two things were already linked since if you add the secret 4 to the time stamp it equals the time on the news broadcast. Soooo I went back to my original A idea.

AKM - 1,11,13 +7/25
ABZ - 1,2,26 +11/29
ACE - 1,3,5 +9/9
pic1- 12,36,1 +10/49
pic2- 12,01,1 +5/14
pic3- 12,48,1 +16/61
pic4- 1,24,1 +8/26

The A's in the pictures didn't necessarily have to be added up. When you subtract it from the pictures' sums picture 4 becomes the same as AKM. Which is funny because pic4 is the army guy with an assault riffle, and an AKM is a type of modern AK Assault Rifle. Maybe the creature is Russian Razz .

If we leave the As in there the numbers are all unique to themselves, at least.

Bottom line: there are too many damned numbers!

So... did you actually prove anything? The numbers seem a little... out there.

Guys, I don't think that the group doing this ARG would go into such trouble as to add up dozens of minute numerical details. The AKM, ABZ and ACE we're seeing could just be meaningless props.

Crunching numbers is not going to magically point any of us in the direction of a mysterious URL out there.

Simple observation from the trailer pointed us in the direction of the Slusho.com site.

I'll go out on a limb and say that any effort should be spent on figuring out and observing the Slusho site, trailer and 1-18-08 site for the next clue.

Numerology is just like statistics...you can massage the results any way you want to prove a point.

Heya...I posted before to ask about this, dont recall seeing any answers tho..

At the 36-39 seconds marks of the trailer, just before the first ROAR you can hear the song "Woman" by Wolfmother playing at the party.

Just curious if anyone had a way to check on "permission to use" type stuff that may be associated with the song.

Wolfmother was very upfront about a song of theirs used in Spiderman 3 but I havent found any refernece to this movie as of yet..

12-pages later, no-one has given me an answer yet on this one. Copyright material requires permission..I just don't know the way to go about finding a way to verify the "who, what, when, where" type answers..

Any thoughts??

has anyone tried to triangulate those to a center point of the triangle they would form. Maybe that is something.

Since that point would be in the middle of the ocean, is there any way to put latitude/longitude coordinates into google maps? If nothing else, looking at tiny islands in the ocean is very interesting--I was randomly looking at a couple today, zooming in then all of a sudden you see a little dirt road and some military vehicles going into a hillside. Pretty freaky.

Shocked See any trap doors, monsters made out of smoke, numbers, or hot guys named Sawyer?

No need to be rude now. By the end of that rant I didn't really get anywhere beyond noticing that the AKM, ACE, and ABZ seemed directly linked with the pictures some how.

Also AKMACEABZ anagrams to A BACK MAZE, and AMAZE BACK. Just thought that was interesting.

you're right, they need licensing.. I don't have time to find licensing info, but maybe this will help you on your search... http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/music-licensing.htm/printable

I see the logic in your approach but IP addresses (that is until IP2 is established) are 0-255,0-255,0-255,0-255 the possible address you have derived would be 136.213.484.124 this was feasible up until the 484 which I'm sure you will have spotted is above 255, so sorry not an IP address.

BUT... 136.213.484.124. Not an IP. Perhaps a combination IP and port number?

136.213.48.4:124 perhaps? 136.213.4.84:124 ? 136.213.48.41:24 ?

Telnet number, perhaps? Like an old BBS?

Did anyone try to telnet in to this? I would, but I don't have a phone modem anymore, nor a land line.
