 		I don't necessarily want to connect ethanhaaswasright.com with 1-18-08, but we can't rule out the fact that there is a connection with ethanhaaswasright.com and The Class tv show, which happens to coincidentally share a cast member with each other.

I think it's very apparent that the film takes place in New York City, or at least a good portion of it does.

Also, that Wolfmother song, The Joker and the Thief in the Night is actually about the apocalypse. The Joker is Satan and the Thief in the Night is the second coming of Christ as stated in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 (NIV), "...for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night."

I really don't think The Class is connected. Sure there's Ethan Haas, but that doesn't fit with the description from the site.

Hiya.

I've been hugely interested in the trailer since I saw it. I think it points toward a movie that could be absolutely groundbreaking in monster/disaster film history. We've all watched movies where spaceships blast cities or huge behemoths topple buildings, but what would it be like to be just witness to such a calamity? I was almost disappointed I learned it was going to be a monster movie. Watching the first bit, when everyone was on the roof and then suddenly downtown Manhattan ignited and the slowly arcing bits of debris started colliding on the rooftop, I thought I was watching a trailer about one of the most amazing post-apocalyptic movies ever.

Anyways, it's interested me enough to lurk here on this thread. I've never really been involved in an ARG, so forgive me if I'm asking some obvious questions. That said:

1. How do we know that the site for 1-18-08.com is part of an ARG?

2. Would it be a huge coincidence if the 1-18-08.com site and the EHWR/EHWW sites popped up at nearly the same time?

3. Would it also be a huge coincidence that trailer for the movie and video for the Ethan Haas stuff to be yanked down -- quite quickly -- from YouTube by Paramount?

I'm being honest. I understand that people want to connect the two within the game. I just want to know if people really think they're connected or not.

As I mentioned above, it seems odd that the trailer and the bits from Ethan Haas get yanked by Paramount, and that they launch so close together. Also, the overly shaky/obscuring camera work the trailer and the Ethan Haas points towards a common aesthetic. And the linking of the two in the online buzz generators -- it's odd that so many would do that (though my lack of ARG experience means I could be wrong). Also, wouldn't it be a huge coincidence that the back of the Ethan Haas puzzles is a ruined, burning metropolitian scene?

Or has Paramount launched an unheard-of untitled trailer for a movie about a city getting effed up, and at the same time begun being the YouTube enforced for another, equally viral, campaign for another movie about a city getting effed up?

i decided to take a look at that site and it had an address 719 Angelus, CO. So i google mapped it and its a mortuary, not a design studio like i expected. coincidence or am i just extremely tired and digging a little too deep

 		Time & Temp?
Hey I watched the video again and noticed that on the news it shows the time(12:31 am) and the Temp (63 degrees). Is it just me or does that seem a little warm for New York in January at midnight. Someone should get a screencap. Also I got a text from Van yesterday at 12:05 pm that said "THEY HAUE FOUND ME".

Surprised no one caught the temp yet.

one was the standard auto reply about all the puzzles but in response to my plea for help with the second puzzle I got this extra message:

sorry my response has taken so long, I have to keep moving,

there really isn't that much more information there but I thought if nobody had posted it yet I would. It makes me think there might be a standard response for each puzzle but when I tried again for the fourth puzzle I got the original autoreply message

 		New faker?
On Comunity Livejournal is new interesting post about person form IMDB with user ID My_Name_Is_Van that was registered since June 24 (too way before all this insane mystery). Sumary of his infos so far (for another info and full article go to provided link):
- His signature is: 1-18-08 The stars begin to rain down...
- He gives "one last piece of information to help us" which is "Dials Glitz Into". Someone on IMDB was able to figure out it could possibly be an anagram for "It Isn't Godzilla."
- Several words in his posts are in blue: god, key, the, is. Obviously something along the lines of The Key is God or God is The Key.
- A couple of his posts have had words with missing letters. Someone on IMDB was able to figure out the letters spell out "Dragons are definitely out of the question so don't even suggest."
- He mentions a few names, but only one of the names was highlighted in purple (Freddy). Not sure if that will have any significance in his future posts or not.

Dunno if its faker or not, but it seems interesting to me. And it seems provide some great connection to what seems separate stories. Keep up good work that is entertaining to read Very Happy .

Hmmm, by reading full My_Name_Is_Van posts i start thinking, that if it comes proven as true clue, it sonds a too way comlicated and rich for a single movie. If it all is really meant to merge together i think it will needs a movie or TV series to solve all tohse questions.
