 		I've been working on the 63 degrees thing from every angle my little brain can come up with. I figured that it was a latitude/longitude thing, but have found nothing yet. I've been wearing out the Google Earth trying to figure it out.

I also checked on astronomical degrees with no luck yet. I did come across a contsellation called Hydra the water snake. The pictures made an impressive looking monster.

I did see that Ganu as in Ganu Yoshida wasn't a traditional Japanese name, but during WWII the Japanese occupied an area called Terranganu. There also is a Welsh festival called the Cymanfa Ganu. I was trying to find a possible connection from Wales to whales )Ganu's mother being the smallest whale from the Slusho history).

ganuyoshida.com is a fake site, best that I can tell.

JJ Abrams called King Kong and Godzilla things like "cute, charming" and so forth, not to scary. My guess is he is going to make a new American monster to frighten us.

This is all I have and now my head hurts and Miller Lite is calling for me again. Regards.

i have an update, but i do not want to give all of the details, because i work in the film industry (although not on cloverfield....) and it's actually really frustrating to work on a set where people are always trying to sneak in or find out what's going on....

BUT

cloverfield is filming in NYC right now. i won't say where, i won't say when, so please don't ask. but it is currently using the codename: "cheese". they are shooting for a week and i have been told that it is in fact almost done shooting (most was done in LA).

i just wanted to give you all an update in case it holds more clues.

Are we still calling this a "possible" ARG?
Just curious cause the focus has seemed to shift a bit, in a good way imho to film locales and such. I love it but now wonder if they originally were going to make this an ARG but once the trailer/teaser hit so BIG with a lot of people, they have backed off.

yeah, it doesn't seem like anything else ARG related has happened yet and the last major thing that we found was the myspaces for the characters.

seems like it's going downhill to me too, but I hope not either.

 		Don't get me wrong...it's actually turning into a very fun little deal for me. Mind you my first "ARG" was The Majestic....LOL, sorry not trying to be insulting but I guess that was indeed a commercial ARG? Anyway....this is truely a fun time.
What I want to know from the major big time vets here that have been experiencing ARG's vs Viral Marketing....what's your take now to my original question?

Go to the "SLUSHO" site www.slusho.jp. Then go to the "third splash" from the left- the one that has the little boy and little girl flying the kites. Have a look at the top right side of the screen that shows the birds flying form the left side of the screen to the right side. THERE ARE 11 BIRDS IN TOTAL FLYING IN A "V" FORMATION. Actually, they are flying in a "7" formation. Get it, "7 11". The same way that "The Simpsons" movie promoted through 7 11 by changing 12 to "Kwiki-Mart" across the country, 7 11 will again partner with this movie to promote "Cloverfield" movie. 7 11 has the option of six flavors, and you have the option of mixing the flavors to create your own flavor. "Bet you cant drink just six!!!" Brilliant! Brilliant! (No wait, that is the beer commerical). Thank me later.

This is messed up, check out the register(er) of www.1--18--08.com's address.
Does it say "amelia, ohio 45102" as the state for anybody else? Or is this a code to mimic where i live? Because this registerer lives in the same zip and state as me(but a different address). This can't be right.
