I don't see how this 2 is an optical illusion. I don't see how it could be anything else, blurry or not.

photos come up smaller..but still 'tick'. Why are they ticking...wonder if it has something to do w/the times specified..like maybe if you align them to the times something happens...

 		Interesting that Paramount has put the trailer up under the title "1-18-08." Yes it seems to be the release date but it is something more. As Tinag said...it's a site.

Maybe releasing the "official" trailer as "1-18-08" will get more people to check out the site and when they do we'll get more pictures. There are certainly lots of flashes going off at Rob's party so there has to be more pictures somewhere.

I think there is something in the photos hiding in plain sight...just don't know what I'm seeing.

This might be bad news on the clock. When Rob enters the door, you can see the same clock above the door. It still reads 10:15. I think I smell a broken clock, used for decoration. *Maybe.

As you can see there, the two shaped thing is on the banner when it appears in the trailer, so it wasn't shopped in after the fact. It's a bit blurry, but you can easily recognize the color. That probably means it's not significant, unless they were planning this all at the time of filming.

Cause it's seen in the trailer and it's gold and in the same spot but it's not a 2 and it wasn't done afterward.... Wink

That's gigantic! The movie is being filmed under the fake name Slusho. It's after something on Alias. But it's gotta be important with the Japan thing and all!

*EDIT* There's also some weird stuff about the bottom of the sea on the Slusho site. This looks in game. Lots of it says it'll update soon. Someone run whois.

the photos of the building you've got, looks like a billboard for 401 Broadway, which is here: http://www.nyc-architecture.com/GV/GV053-401BROADWAYBLDG.htm, and shows that the building is indeed in lower Manhattan, just trying to find some other relevant photos from that POV to see if the buildings are all in the same spot, not "altered" such as what a lot of other city-filled movies do to suit their backdrop needs.

Not as far from the Statue of Liberty as Midtown is, obviously. It's about 16,000 ft or so as the crow flies. http://www.google.com/maps?q=401+Broadway,+New+York,+NY+10013,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title

One other thing. Looking at the SOL head in that closeup shot (gotta love the HD trailers), are the things on the head just bent copper and the points twisted, or is the part in the middle that looks like a tentacle or something an item of interest for us?
