At least we know we're looking for other sites.
I've tried looking for oven mitt horse ones, ass that found ones, and all the number related ones...
but nothing. :\

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps sticker versions of the exit to Mystery St sign are sold as keepsake items, and this is just a random decoration with no significance.

Same could be said for the piece of paper on the fridge which seems to say Ding Dong which may, or may not, be related to the Ding Dong Lounge which is in NY. Seems real enough and doesn't have anything to do with this though but hey, it's there.

Sorry if it has been brought up. It's nearly 6am and this thing has had me up all night. #_#

Could just be the Slusho site though, might not be more then that.

It is more important that he has officially denounced the Ethan Haas stuff.

I don't have a clue....but while we're on the scavenger hunt, it's worth throwing on the table. I just typed in slusho and went with it.

Thanks for your support of our little movie. I can't wait to talk to you more about it -- of course, knowing you, by the time we talk you'll know more than I will.

Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we're doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn't kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat's about what's online? So as you can imagine, we're focusing mostly on THAT. For what it's worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.

Is it just me or do normally people say "rat's ass?" I was bored and just decided to google "giant rat"

It's a far fetched idea... but then again... everyone is looking for a lead.

Giant rat from the sea that turned into a whale because it drank more than six Slushos!

Very Happy

Gotta agree that we're missing something obvious...

Random thought: Many have commented on how Rob seems to know something's up, or some such...and he is being given drinks by the Slusho shirt-wearing guy, right? And he's going to Japan.

Hmm.

Gah.

Hey everyone, got some news for y'all... I don't believe it's been posted yet, but this is an official announcement everyone should read and spread the word - and finally lock down the fact that Ethan Haas is not related to 1-18-08!

Aintitcool news reports a message from JJ Abrams where he explicitly states that Ethan Haas is not his work, and not related to 1-18-08.

Stay cool the rest of the summer -- and thanks per usual for AICN!

Haha, I know I know.. then I saw the piece of cheese on the slusho site and just figured I'd post it.

I'm getting annoyed that no one can even find a hint about this movie and I'm sure it's driving us all crazy

Along with me quoting it on this page, heh. It's okay.

Just found this thread.
Has it been mentioned that the explosion is taking place at Ground Zero?

Amusing

In my current state, I found the message on http://cloverfield.com/ quite funny.

Apparently some of the ad algorithims have caught onto Cloverfield. Several websites I've been to that innocently mention the words clover and field have Transformers related text ads.

Also, I found this text:
http://www.gutenberg.org/files/18872/18872-h/18872-h.htm
Seems irrelevant, but I'm looking over it.
