Hey guys,

Me and my buddy have been following along here and thought we'd drop in and say what we've found, someone else might have already posted this stuff but we thought we'd post again in case not!

When we sent an email to the Slusho site saying that we were both happy and unhappy we got the automated response saying

Slusho! loves your mails!! You Can't Drink Just Six!!!

And then there was some interesting stuff that the whois pulled up but you guys already found that, when we called the number it gave us directions on how to mail them but that sounded more just like standard fair for the automated response.

Also! In the trailer there is some graffiti when everyone is running back in from the rooftop that gets highlighted, there are three lines, the top one is half cut off, but the bottom two say "2004 ace". It might be nothing be we didn't notice anyone else posting about it so we thought we'd throw it in there in case someone can find the top half of the first line.

We also emailed the address in the whois but haven't gotten a response yet, we'll let you know unless someone else does first!

And what's the history story on that Slusho site, it seems pretty creative and possibly filled with a veritable myriad of clues!

Having a good time with this! You guys are on the ball here!

I've been catching up.

I thought this was "neat". Here's an actual picture of the street filmed in the trailer. You can see the 401 sign, the "textile" sign, etc. No clues or anything, just "neat".

I've also been reading up on Slusho. I left today at around 5:30pm est, visited a friend and headed home. I logged on to find out you guys/gals had been up to something. Figures. Gone for 5 hours and a website pops up. I'll be up for another 2 or 3 hours trying to find clues. I have tons of free time tonight.

It has "http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/monster/hd/" in it. The link is a 404 Error on Apple's site.. but I think it's odd that they have it in there.

it looks to me like they use a standard template for all movies; this template allows for High Definition trailers. As a web programmer, I can say that it is easier to leave the html code in place for all possible links and just disable the button. Therefore, you cannot click on HD to load a non-existant trailer version, but the directory is left in the code for future expansion.

I decompiled the flash.

I don't know how to understand the scripts but there are no other images spites or text you can't already see on the page.

That WhoIs info on the Slusho site seems interesting, anyone with free long distance want to try that number in Japan, or maybe 1-800-589-5681?

Also, is there anything on the map at that address, or is that even a real address?

Something just seems odd about all of that.

called the slusho number as an 800 number; an automated response gave a series of numbers and then had some quick dialing and it sounded like i was hung up on, not that the phone went dead.im not particularly phone savvy (in that im not sure if its something that happens whenever you type in bullshit numbers) someone else may as well try...

Really, though, I think we just need to rest and wait for updates.

Amen! Give me more pics at 1-18-08!

Hey guys,

Called that 1800 number talked about above, I don't know if that's normal for those things but 4 separate times we got four slightly different responses:

100 50 7 1 1 3 3 0 0 0 0 1

500 20 7 1 1 3 3 0 0 0 0 1

100 68 7 1 1 3 3 0 0 0 0 1

800 90 7 1 1 3 3 0 0 0 0 1

So yeahhhhh this could very easily just be a big waste of time here but that's what we got. Thought we'd share.

edit:

Also! The last instruction on the download procedures for the Backgrounds and the AIM avatar is "Slusho! Zoom!"

...

sorry for not having the time to backtrack, but how did Slusho.jp get included into this? I missed that post.

ALSO: here is a very good quality version of the trailer for your splice and dice purposes. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DZ_48AyXf7s

and just in case it gets taken down, I've saved the .FLV video for you: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/3/5/855045/cloverfield.flv

You can use something like FLV player to play the file: http://www.download.com/3000-2139_4-10505954.html

Thanks!

He posted "1-800-589-5681?" up there, but that's not quite the whois number. I double checked, and he accidentally transposed a 9 for a zero. A 1-800 adaptation of the number would be 1-800-580-5681. I called that and got an automated rep for a paper company. Seemed OoG, so I didn't bother to mess around.

There's an official version of the trailer up on Apple and in Hi-def.

And "slusho" was on the t-shirt of one of the guys in the trailer, and it's been reported as the filming title of the movie.

slusho site

Since all the slusho pages seem to be seperate swf files maybe we should try finding swf pages that aren't directly linked to active buttons.

The main files is
http://www.slusho.jp/swf/index.swf

for the feedback page we just replace "index" with "feedback"

http://www.slusho.jp/swf/feedback.swf

and so on. Lets try some more word combinations and see if anyone comes up with something new.

Tried calling the international number, but it didn't work.
Looked at the slusho actionscript, didn't really see anything.
So anything we find should be image based.

Just a hunch, but I think maybe we'll find something related to this "Ganu." According to the Slusho history, "his accomplishments are many" and "he is very big." There are also "teammates" in his oceanic research...

So maybe a Ganu Oceanographic Institute or some such? Can't find anything via Google...

I don't know if it's already been done, but I tried everything I could think of on the downloadable wallpapers. Since it said in the rules to "Slusho zoom!" I tried zooming in, inverting it, messing with the colors... nada. Unless I missed something... I am rather tired. :[ I even zoomed in on the history page and followed that stupid horse around.

I'M ABOUT TO GO INSANE HERE.
*pulls hair out*
