Honestly think that those are reflctions of CD's. The pattern seems to match.

I had my wife translate it- it's kanji for "You Just Can't Drink 6". It just happens that in that structure having the 6 first is normal. She said all of the kanji on the Slusho site matches the English. There is nothing that she could find that would suggest that there is any other meaning.

While this is just my opinion, I don't think those are reflections because they seem to move with the fabric. It is much more likely they are just patterns on the shirt, a strange pattern to be sure but kids these days

That having been said I think they look like the marks left by octopus or squid suckers

I'm not saying he was picked-up by a gian squid monster, I'm just saying that's what it looks like

Just pointing out that IMDb has the cast list incorrect.

"Rob" is played by Michael Stahl-David, he played the youngest Donnely brother Sean on "The Black Donnellys". Pretty easy to identify him when he first enters the surprise party, and the "I'm your main dude" scene.

Mike Vogel, from the horrid movie "Havoc", is the Slusho shirt wearing "let's see if we can get a better look out on the roof" guy.

 		So you're saying Michael Stahl-David is the man-o-the-hour, and Mike Vogel is a buddy attending the party? I thought it was the other way around. I'll have to watch the trailer again.

 		just a weird tidbit from the slusho site

1) there is only 1 cup full on the bottom left cups
2) there are 18 cups total on the homepage (17 on the bottom and 1 up top)
3) there are a total of 8 cups on the bottom right hand side

Still checking on Henry Kelvin. Found a biography of scifi writer Henry Kuttner. He has been used in ARG's before and the main reason i mention him is this:

It could be a clue since Henry wrote as Kelvin.....

I think the "donuts" are either refractions from a disco ball or from hanging CDs (as decoration).

nothing more.

this would explain how they are only on him when he is near the source of the refraction, and also on boh his pants and shirt.

hmmm... although, it doesn't explain why they are only seen on him, and not surrounding people, or are they...?

I looked into the news cast on the trailor a little more, The record tempreature for New York on 1-18 was 66 degrees in 1990 so i mean it has got that hot there before for no reason. I'm not sure now if it has anything to do with whats going on. But it also 60 - something at least after 12:15 at night. So maybe it has everything to do with whats going on The record high for 1-18 at dusk was 51 degrees. So at the time given when the " earthquake" flash came on tv it has never been that warm in New York City at that given time.

Could it be lighting in the room? After all, it is a party.

I'm at work and don't have the trailer handy so I can't tell if that might be the case or not.

PS - "You Can't Drink Just Six!!!" Could Just Six be some product tip off? The only thing I found offhand was some book on amazon regarding six numbers:

 		Decompiled the Flash, nothing out of the ordinary.

It is interesting that Chad S. Frey, whose newsletter spilled the beans about Sector 7's link to Transformers early on, is also working on Slusho. I'm sure it's professional coincidence: http://www.freyart.us/latest_news.htm

Nothing turned up from searching on Martin Whist and Doug Meerdink, other than confirmation of their involvement in the film's art direction.
