[quote="Insanitarium2006"]Heard back from Happy tonight ...

Quote:
Did you know there are ton of different names for this place?

So using this clue from Happy, enaxor soon figured out that we were looking for ...

http://placeofthelittlehills.blogspot.com/

Which brought us another lovely series of puzzle pieces. Bravil noticed that they closely resembled this image ...

And we soon put it together like so ...

Using our wonderful card substitution we got ...

Quote:
dan
e&
s[ n
gso
ng
th
hat
onh
ead

or

http://danceandsingsongwithhatonhead.blogspot.com/(Thanks Methos)

So our instructions are as follows:

Quote:
Stand facing Tawa along the edge
of the river in this place.
As the sun begins to sleep..
sing this song to Tawa.

Ke-ya wa-te, layn-yo layn-yo mah-hoy-te
Hi-ya-no, hi-ya-no, hi-ya-no
Ke-ya wa-te, layn-yo layn-yo mah-hoy-te
Hi-ya-no, hi-ya-no, hi-ya-no

We are one with the infinite Sun
Forever and ever and ever!
We are one with the infinite
Sun Forever and ever and ever!

Tawa will bring the soul of
the Soyok Wuti to you.

After you sing this song to Tawa -
dance in a circle until you hear the word
from the Soyok Wuti.

Contact one of the Under Nedd's Bed Crew
and give them the word.

Hold tight to the word, Under Ned's Bed Crew,
you will need it when you reach the Innocent.

Happy has been notified of her instructions via email, and so now hopefully all goes smoothly. *knocks on wood*

Once again, another wonderful group effort by the crew in #sammeeeees .. God I love these people!

Edit to add:

It should also be noted that in the source code we located the following code:

Quote:

;5~5~6oo1(88;4Cool#:#/~?;61(#9;46)86t#o#*. 48()5t)#?o~6oo ~5*t8( 1#(8^8( 6* ;48 6*28;~88*.

Which translates to (Thanks again to Methos)

Quote:
Tawa will free the soyok wuti from this eidolon. her sad soul will wander forever in the inbetween.

The substitution alphabet used in both blogs was posted earlier in this thread by Kimer.

There are little differences:
c=$
d=t
k= / or \ ?
l=o
o=#
v=^
x=>

Thank you, Insane. I am leaving early tomorrow (4am) and will reach this place before the sunset. I will call you or email as soon as I can to give you the first word.

I'm still Happy!

Here is hoping she remains Happy! *insert beer icon here*

Hi this is actually my first time playing an ARG but i was intrigued by how close the maps with the 5 pigs were to the link that was shown. I used ms paint to overlay the pictures and they didnt seem to fit but when the picture if flipped horizontally and vertically, the pictures are almost an exact match, heres a picture

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v607/darknights_shaman/?action=view&current=fivepigs.jpg

The faint lines are the overlay

Just received an email from our friend Happy Rogers ...

Quote:
Hi Insane!

I did it! Or I should say, WE DID IT!!! And now we
have the word! Vale is the first word!!! Woot! (I
have never said that word in my entire life, but I
love it!) I have to say the experience was scary. I
mean, here we were in the middle of this sacred place,
and this huge storm was blowing in and the Singing and
the Dancing Nun yells out, "Lightening!" And we
looked up and saw it strike again in the distance! We
quickly did the song and dance and then I waited and
it took a couple minutes for the voice to be clear to
me. You know it really sounded like every canned
horror movie ghost voice. I tried to call you right
away but the cell was not getting service out there!
I was about to call you moments ago and then realized
it is really late where you live and decided it was
best to email you. I'll try you tomorrow just to say
hi and to be sure you get the word. Thank you for all
your help, Insane. I know you must be very busy with
your own life, so thanks for helping with the map and
pointing me in the right direction. I better go! My
dog needs to have a little walk.

I'm still Happy!

This morning I sent Happy the instructions for Map 2. I wasn't sure if anyone else had contacted her yet.

enaxor wrote:
Happy I wasn't sure if anyone contacted you about the Map 2 location or not. I thought I better send it to you just in case. Several of us from UNBC were working on this the other night, we figured out that the location is Wilson's Creek, Mo. A civil war battle was fought here called the Battle of Bloody Hill. Once you get there, this is what you need to do to free Mr. Abbott to the in-between.

Walk white shoes into the green grass next to the hanging mans tree at the foot of the bloody hill. Get down on to the ground and whisper the name of the white soldier with the bloody hands three times into the blood soaked earth. The fallen will bring him to you. Put your ear to the earth and listen. The white soldier with the bloody hands will whisper into your ear. Take the word he speaks and give it to one of your friends under the bed. Tell them the word. They will hold it until you reach the Innocent.

There were a couple other things we found:

Under the trees biggest limb and After this Abbott freed from Eidolon, fallen soldiers of bloody hill drag Abbott to in between forever.

Good luck with everything and drive carefully. If you need anything here's my cell number, xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Here's what Happy wrote back.

Happy wrote:

Insane!

Thank you so much for the instructions and location.
I will arrive at Wilson Creek on Tuesday morning. I
speak into the ground then. Do you think I should say
Mister Abbott's name or say the White Soldier with the
Bloody hands? I guess I could try both.

Thank you for your number. Do you mind if I call you
with the word, (fingers crossed) once I receive it
from Mister Abbott? I'm actually really creeped out
about the idea of facing the dead version of this
sicko. I hope he just says the word and the drag him
away.

Well, I better go. The Singing and the Dancing Nun
wants to get some KFC before they close.

I'm still Happy

Mapmaker I don't want to take you opportunity away for you to get the word, so let me know if you'll be available and I'll tell Happy to call you. Very Happy

I had written Happy earlier...didn't think she'd need me for anything, but figured just in case.

Hi Happy~

I don't know whether you will need me for anything on your journey, but just in case, you can reach me at xxx-xxx-xxxx. Of course, I'll try to catch it if it rings, but don't be confused by the voice mail if you happen to get it...I work for a non-profit rescuing Great Danes, and that's a message regarding the rescue. Smile

Eidolon has extended my 'leave' (ugh) until the next full moon, at least, which is July 28. That gives me another 2 weeks on the outside to try to figure out what I can do from here.

Listen: Maybe you've figured out by now that I'm a practicing Wiccan, but if not, I figured I should come "out of the broom closet" so to speak and let you know. Hope that doesn't freak you out..I certainly don't mean for it to. Please know that I only work with light. I'm trying to convince Mr. Creepy Butthead that I'm concocting all these evil spells or whatever to assist him, but in reality, anything that I do to 'use' the dark side will be so bumbled that it will not result in anything worthwhile. BUT...If there's anything, ANYTHING I can do to help you, please let me know. I have been burning protection candles for you, Ben, Jayne, Dwin, everyone, ever since this all began. I could make a life-size mold of myself with all the melted wax I've buried lately, and I *know* my neighbors have been watching me go out in the middle of the night digging my little holes in my flower beds. They probably think I've lost my mind! (Got any extra tin foil hats I can borrow? That'd really freak them out! LOL)

I'm currently working on a way to communicate w/ Mithras for Mr. Gerold. Hopefully, we can establish some form of communication with him so we can let him know what Mr. Creepy Butthead is *really* doing in that sanctuary.

Anyway...Stay safe on your journey. If there's anything at all you need that I can help with, just let me know. I'm pretty good at mundane stuff too, especially research. (Except this whole 'mission' Mr. Gerold's got me on right now...that one's really stumping me...hopefully Betty brings something good back from England soon.)

If you pass through Oklahoma, give me a shout. I'll buy you a "World's Famous Fried Onion Burger" from my little town. Check it out! We even have our own Wiki! Who knew? LOL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Reno,_Oklahoma (And not much has changed since they took that picture!)

With Love and Light, we cannot fail!

Ahem. Just so you guys know. I really do understand that I won't be buying Happy any burgers. No need for an intervention or anything. Rolling Eyes

Hi Lacey!

I just checked into my motel in Gallup!!! I did it!
Or I should say WE DID IT! It was scary because a
storm was rushing in as we arrived at Homolovi - but
the deed is done! I heard Doctor Francis Kinder speak
the word and it was so strange. It sounded like a
really bad horror movie voice. I can't explain it
other than it sounded "other worldly". I tried to call
Insane to give him the word from the spirit of Doctor
Francis Kinder, but my cell had no service out there!
I made a video of the song and dance and will put it
up soon. I'm dealing with lack of high speed computer
as well!!! Too much fun!!! I might call and at least
leave a hello message tomorrow as we drive thru
Oklahoma! And I love that you're a Wiccan!!! Thank
goodness you are or where would we be? Jayne swears
by the salt in the corners of the room. I'm
completely fascninated by all this. Secretly, it has
always intrigued me. I'm going to email Insane now
with the word. I would call him, but I think it is
too late on the east coast. I'll leave him a message
tomorrow to at least say hi and thank you. And thank
you and all the Sammeeeees! We are one step closer!
I'm still Happy!

So do I answer the phone if it rings, or let it go to VM???

Seems like it. "Lunatics" is mentioned here:
http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail.asp?trailid=XFP010-038

I don't know how "Innocent" fits in, except that it's far away

Actually, I believe we are looking for the Rolling Hills Insane Asylum in Alexander, NY. If is just a bit off the beaten path from both Bethany Center and Raymond Road and approximately 13 and a half hours from Lubec, Main ... where our dear Dwin is located aka (The Innocent)

Sorry for the vague post, but right now I am on my way out the door.

Maybe we can search for a blog about Rolling Hills.
