I don't know. I mean have you seen the wrought/cast iron looking hand rails on older ramps, they had the two levels of hand holds. I guess one level was for kids or something. The conduit could be for wiring running under the ramp to whatever's on the other side.
I'm not saying you're wrong, just posing an alternate possiblity

Ok, I can see that now. It didn't make much sense when I was trying to see it from a straight on perspective. It makes much more sense as handrail if the shot was indeed taken from the top down.

the phone number

This is most definitely in game I ran some back ground on the number it is registered, but not in an yellow pages any where in the world, that is sstrange for a flood control business not to be listed or advertised anywhere.

I say we need to crash the VM password.

Edit:L I can totally confirm this is IG they posted in the Vancouver Buy sell( bargain finder trade paper). Same exact add same price as Montreal there is no doubt in my mind this is IG.

Well I've sent a response to both the sales ad, and the help wanted ad. Under the assumption that this is for something more militaristic than SotA, I've indicated a skill in tactical thinking, which I would think may entice them to contact.

As a thought, FCC and SotA could be two branches of a single entity, or they could even be competing entities. The two branch theory would be that the FCC cleans up the messes, and SotA researches the causes and tries to pinpoint where an event may occur.

The competing entity theory would be SotA is trying to expose the truth while FCC is concealing the truth, or at least protecting the public from what's going on. This theory would almost certainly require governmental help if even covertly.

Edit: As to crashing the password, I'd be careful about that, unless your sure FCC is the group you're wanting to 'join'. Given the history of paramilitary groups in Conspiresy Theory history, if you find out too much, you may be 'forcibly inducted' into the group. Course that said, I wanna know whats on that VM server as much as or more than the next person.

heh can you imagine if a nonplayer tried to buy the equipment and was the only person to get the clues or leave a voice mail.

interesting photo merge

Okay, I got bored, and remembered someone said that the name on the slide had the same name as this company, so for giggles I overlaid them and made the slide layer transparent enough so that the greenish/gray stuff was missing. When I did this, I found that there looks like the 'infection' would overlap part of the glyph on the ad picture, so I moved it there, and well, this looks kinda spooky to me, but that could just be the sleep deprivation talking.

I checked the listing on Yahoo, and all the listings there appear to be in major cities, like other listings elsewhere. New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle, etc.

Coincidence?

I dont live anywhere near london but I checked out the site from the listing on live.com and it points to a house. I cant see any phone booths around.

However when you turn it into a 3D view (I dont know if it's a coincedence) but it points to what looks like the greenhouse at the back:

Unfortunate Timing

Given the state some parts of the UK are in due to flooding, and now the subsequent clean up, it is a unfortunate coincidence if this is the context in which this arg is to progress, oh well Smile

Saw this version of the Flood Containment Control.

http://manchester.gumtree.com/manchester/28/11263028.html

It allows you to email the poster. However, the interesting thing is this version of the picture is coming up with a positive result on stegdetect. Anyone else getting that?

I really doubt this is anything, but the patch of moss at the "12 o'clock" position on the glyph looks like Texas. There isn't a Texas location for buying this stuff though, right?

I'm guessing this is the UK Manchester? I just tried calling, but obviously, it's not a valid UK number so nothing happened... Any ideas on that?

Isn't there usually a local version of toll free numbers. The 778-5672 seems to be a local number here in the seattle area

I tried from a UK landline and got told if I stayed on the line I'd be charged a fair amount for the right to listen to a potential voicemail Razz So I decided not to let the call connect to the US.

I am thinking about going to the London address tho...

Let us know what happens, I wish they had one here in Okiehoma, I'd be willing to drive across most of this cursed state to get to one.
