Certainly could be. What is it written on though?

The first and third webcam are the same.

If you look at the first, you'll notice the SPARTAN figure is standing next to a metal hook of some sort, the "glyph" in the third cam is merely light glare from the metal hook.

Hello, by the way.

*edit* My avatar is too big. Ho hum.
*edit* Because I clearly can't spell "Edit"

the feb 15 1970 has nothing to do with its the 16th now on that webcam, which leads me to believe that possibly its a countdown to something that already happened we just need to know how long into "its" future it is and what significance it has with the current?

consequently, camera 4 is up...

Each of the displayed cameras, in order:

http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=0
http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=1
http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=2

And the hidden one:

http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=3

Still lovingly called the H2 secrets cam.

Anything above 2 returns the same as 3 and stops at 9.

To me, that doesn't look like a reflection, it is too clear compared to the rest of the image and would be too large based on the size of the metal.

An interesting observation, http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=0 works with all the numbers from 0-9 0,1, and 2 are all up on the bungie site, while 3-9 all show the "halo 2 secret cam" Also any number placed will bring up a valid site, they're all blank after 9 but they don't return with an error message. Also there's absolutely nothing on

http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=117
http://www.bungie.net/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=343

and probably any other combinations you can think of

You open the webcams page and "View Source" in your browser. Then you see that the webcams listed are:

Code:
<h2>Webcams</h2>
<h3>Camera 1</h3>
<div>
<img src="/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=0" width="320" height="240" alt="Camera 1">
</div>
<h3>Camera 2</h3>
<div>
<img src="/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=1" width="320" height="240" alt="Camera 2">
</div>
<h3>Camera 3</h3>
<div>
<img src="/Inside/Webcam.ashx?camera=2" width="320" height="240" alt="Camera 3">

Then you see that you can keep on with the series...

I think that the two spartan figures and the dice is to commemorate the release of the Halo Clix figures that came out not too long ago. If I recall correctly, you use dice and it points and things for each units health and such in a very Warhammer like game.

That may be the only significance in the web-cam feed.

I have also noticed that the temperature at the bottom of cam 3 changes as well, I have seen it go from 105.5 to 106.5 to 107.5, dont know if it means anything though

It's worth noting that computers often denote time as seconds since the begining of the epoch (defined as 1st January 1970 for Unix machines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time)

In seconds that would mean feb, 15 1970 would be:
60 * 60 * 24 * (31 + 15) = 3974400 seconds since the epoch.

Make of it what you will....

Also I note that camera 2 is refered to as "Pie cam", making it say (for me as of right now) "Tue February 17 1970 Pie Cam 13:01:54"

The time is changing in something other than real time so it's possible that it means something and Pi, of course, is 3.1415926.
