If it's hidden behind a false menu, what if it's one of the sites?

Site#.com

We could search them all.

Site 4.com has a link to k-factor Technology, a web hosting site.

site 108.com has a link to dogbark .com another web hosting site.

Then Site 37 .com has a link to go daddy.com again a web hosting site.

So all of these websites are web hosting sites but in the conversation( the updated one) its said that site4,37, and 108 all have false menus, so does that mean we have to find the information in these sites or what?

That's what I think.

That's a lot to sift through though... Confused

For the recent message, It sound like they're talking to someone else that we can't hear...

I think I found an IP address on one of the pictures in the blog on dogbark.com

Look at the numbers on the wall.

I don't think that site4.com is IG. It's run by "K-Factor Technologies". K-Factor is definitely not in game - they existed back in 2000. The XBox wasn't released until almost 2 years later.

The Beast / other ARGs weren't really around then too, so I think it's safe to say that site4.com is OOG.

I doubt Site 37 is in game either - that's GoDaddy's default domain page. You can check any number of GoDaddy parked websites, and it'll all look the same (except different ads, of course). So I think Site 108 is the best bet, but there is no site108.com...

Maybe there's a hidden menu?

What if they recreated the site to the same as it normally is, but with something added?

Just because we don't know what they mean doesn't mean they're random. They could be sales data for all we know.

I doubt it - I don't think they would work with Microsoft just to do that... but who knows?

EDIT: I think you're on to something -- there's a huge amount of commented out code that - get this - is a menu.

new transcription...

I'm 99% positive it's 3 people, and the "pauses" are where the 3rd person (I believe "Bill") is speaking, but wasn't recorded. It's likely that Bill is even doing the recording, which is why his own voice isn't recorded (he's recording the incoming audio from the other two men).

I've made the transcriptions on the wiki reflect that.

That's what I've been thinking. The silence is too long, and some of the things they say are like responses to someone we can't hear.

Reviving commented out menu.

By removing the "<!--" and "-->" you now get an extra menu on the left hand side and see the message "Now Taking Orders For Shopping Carts.
All other products are Under Construction"

Screenshots before and after:

After: http://img460.imageshack.us/img460/5649/site4newop9.jpg

EDIT!!!: Their Terms of Service page seems to contain a working version of the menu. Hope it's helpful. It seems that more of the links on this page work.

I managed to get a working menu using Firebug.
All the links seem legit and function, except the ones relating to shopping carts...
Also, the about us is missing.
Maybe we weren't supposed to find this yet, or perhaps it is OOG.

I'm hoping.

If it is out of game, then it makes no sense to me that a company would have all this menu code but just comment it out. I'm going to continue with this anyway, see if anything does happen.
