[Humor] Flood as basis for zombies, What's your zombie plan

Given the wildly off topic conversation started here
Partially by me I'll admit.

I thought I'd start this to help blow off some steam while we search the clues.

Here's a link to an RvB PSA that helps point out some good ideas.

Oh, and so this finishes tieing into the topic. The Flood are uberZombies, so when the Zombie's attack (on Fox at 9) what is your Zombie plane

I have a remote location all picked out. It's cold pretty much all the time, and surrounded by a mountain range. As soon as the shit hits the fan, I grab my katana (which reminds me, I need to buy a katana) and head north.

Except the flood bring a whole new dynamic, so I may have to re-think this. A katana is great against the undead, but not so good against flood infection forms.

Did Max Brooks write a book on surviving a flood outbreak?

I'll loan ya one of mine, if you'll ride gunner on my Puma. We wanna find an old prison or fort up in Canada or Alaska, the kind with the ginormus concrete walls.
And he's working on it right now, its called WWZ vs H3

Deal. Except I the only prison fort I've seen that's big enough is in Kingston, which has a reasonably large population (flood population by the time we get there), and the prison is exposed to water on one side. It's also pretty warm in the summer. Maybe something in BC.

And again, my mountain range plan doesn't work because of the infection forms. Damn those headcrab wannbes, they've screwed me again!

Thats why I want a gunner for the Puma, I mean come on that gun never runs out of bullets.

And the Ginormus walls can help keep the little leaping buggers away from us. Just hope the carrier forms don't blow down the walls, that would be bad. If it butts up to the water, thats good, as there's a good water supply, even if we do have to desalinise it, and run patrols there. Plus its a quick out.

If you'll ride sword, and be willing to switch off with Pheonix as gunner.
Sword being like shotgun except we do drive bys on with a leveled sword, doing a slice&dice

except that leaves two questions:

1) can carrier forms swim/ survive underwater?
2) how high can infection forms jump?

Also we have to clean the place out prior to using it, as it is currently filled with extremely bad people, who are likely to be flood infected bad people by the time we get there.

I have two words for you fellas:

Alcatraz.

C'mon. It's a fortress island that has little to no population and tons of supplies and gift shops. Then all I'd have to worry about is the Flood learning how to operate a boat, plane, or hang glider, but I'm not worried, because if there's anything the Halo games have taught us: Flood can't adapt for s**t.

btw, I was going to start a National Zombie Contengency website a year and a half ago, but I waited to long and that book came out... so now I'd look like a poser if I did it...

You've kinda got a point, except for ya know the whole, flood stealing their hosts memories thing, but still. Alcatraz is a good idea.

Only prob is that its in the middle of SF bay which is nice and warm, which is good for our health, but better for the flood not freezing.

BTW I always wanted to start a group called Z.E.T.H
Zombies for the Ethical Treatment of Humans, or
Zombies Eating Tasty Humans, depending on your outlook.
