right and in the first message it's site 34, so " site 34, sites 4 107, and 37" would be a little more accurate.

Are we sure that they want the data deleted? It sounds, by their tone of voice, like they want the data still, but someone has hacked into it. So, they just decided to hide it until their security system updates to deal with the hacker or whatever.

not precisely deleted, just purged from an open or exposed system. Get it into a locked down 'server' and purged off the one that's had the leak. Thats the vibe I'm getting.

It could be something they need other people in their company to access, but since their server has been compromised, they hide it behind a public menu to where only the people in their company can get to it.

Odd that as they are hiding info and getting a hacker out of their system, Bungie announces that they have practically done the same thing.

The sites have to be physical ones not websites.

With a few exceptions: Sites 34, 4, 107, and 37. For some reason the center usually goes in before we do. By the time we have the site clean, they move on to more pressing needs. After all, we've had some extremely unpredictable seasons lately.

Why would unpredictable seasons effect anything but a physical location?

Could be the same reference. Though where'd bungie state that.

That would be interesting, if bungie were a front for ONI, or something, and the halo games were spartan/reclaimer traing sims.

If the synchronicity is not simply chance then somewhere on Bungie.net there is a menu with hidden information behind it.

Unless it was the people doing the conference that grabbed the data from Bungie.

@ MariusDarkwolf

You're suggesting that these people having this discussion are "cleaning" contaminated websites?

Fiction-

This group could be the beginnings of Oni and as of now they are in a co-operative relationship (that has competitive undertones) with the Center . Both of these groups are in the process of cleaning up after a rogue A.I. or multiple A.I.s (ILB).

If this is possible, how do you explain the "unpredictable seasons" comment as an explaination of how the Center is getting to these sites first?

Man 2: We're working on it. For the moment we're simply hiding the data behind a false menu item

This seems major to me! sounds like a website with more clues hidden on it...

It doesn't look like the seasons are why they're getting there first. I think the Center may be like scouts, which would explain why they've moved on while the other group is still cleaning.
The unpredictable seasons reference could be a code word for something else.
Semi GoO spoiler
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Or it could be a reference to a series of AI's like the season AIs on Onyx
meaning something like "After all we've had some extremely unpredictablel season series AI's lately" type of thing

Ok. You had me for a little bit but no, I think you're seeing what you want to see. Shocked

Look-

The phrasing of this tells us that they do not know why the Center goes in first. Like they're not supposed to. If they were Scouts there would be no confusion about motives.

No. They have overlapping responsibilities but whoever is having this conversation believes that they have priority and that the Center is behaving oddly.

Prolly right on the motivations, but I think they may work with the center. I mean the do have the center's rep's contact info. And while I implied that these two groups both knew that the center was scouting, and that is what I meant. It may be that phone group doesn't know that, or that they know they scout for things, but get something themselves first.

But yeah, we all do make theories that fit our preconseptions. But that's half the fun I think
