[SPEC]FloodMaster Pic Analyzed

http://args.bungie.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=669

In the Picture he find the numbers 15, 102, 105, and 50
102 possibly is 104. Possible IP address combos include (In Microsoft's format):

102.15.105.50 ... Failed
102.50.105.15 ... Failed
105.15.102.50 ... Failed
105.50.102.15 ... Failed

With 104

104.15.105.50 ... Failed
104.50.105.15 ... Failed
105.15.104.50 ... Failed
105.50.104.15 ... Failed

I will proceed to check these IP Addresses with the next update

Failed means that the IP Address doesn't exist. It doesn't surprise me due to the fact that none of the Numbers match Bungie's servers.

edited to add [SPEC] tag. ~rose

IPs have to have a value from 0 to 225. So 1055 wouldn't work.

Last Number

129 doesn't fit either so I'm not going through the trouble of tracked all of those possibilities.

Edit: i just looked at the pic again and there could be numbers everywhere on here...i look more and upload when im done

Edit: this picture is insane. theres all kinds of possibilities of hidden crap in here. Espeically in the little area designated in my pic.

Nah, I think if they were going to hide stuff, it'd either be stegg'd, or a little easier to make out.

I'm with everyone who thinks those are just cracks, and we grasping at straws here.

1055 is too large for an IP address.

People have points this just could be coincidence.

I think that after the Halo comic and all of the Glyphs people have been finding, it's a safe bet that Bungie would be hiding more things in images... And just because previous images were easier doesn't mean that this and future images can't be more tricky to solve.

Perhaps even the "multiple interpretations" of these numbers will each eventually lead to different clues in the future?

you know what the picture looks like to me, it looks like a face down screen shot of some "in video game" halo footage, that rail looks like were looking down and the way its textured looks very animated ish? maybe the floor of some multiplayer or campaign halo 3 level?

A few more things stand out to me

Hi, I'm new here, but I really like Halo and I've been reading up on the new ARG today.
I took a look at the picture that is circulating around here, and a few things stood out to me. I find it's easier to see some of the numbers by moving back and forth away from the screen, and my eyes can start to see some of the numbers a lot easier. Tilting my lcd monitor back helps a lot to add some contrast to some things(try doing it to see the 120 that I highlighted).
In the bottom, I tried highlighting all that I could see, but I'm not too sure about some things. I think the 250 could be a 220 (with the second 2 a bit lower, slightly cut off).
In my opinion, the '15' that is in ssx3master's rendition probably shouldn't be there. I can't see the 1 at all (it is just part of a crack, not a number), and the 5 is sketchy as well. Although, with the 120 there, it makes sense that there would be a number in each quadrant of the circle, so I'm really not sure. The other numbers appear to be carved in, but the 15 appears to be part of a crack in the rock that is flaking away.
I'm also not sure about the .65.6 that I colored red, or what could be a 208 to the right of it. If someone here is really good with photoshop, it would probably be useful to apply some filters and play with contrast or something to make some numbers pop out. I think ssx3master is right; that area down there is really busy. Perhaps the author of the glyph was doing some sort of calculation down there?
Lastly, I'm pretty convinced that the number in the top-right of the circle is a 104. If you look between the top of the two lines I drew to mark the 4, it looks like the rock is a lot lighter there (higher topographically), which tells me that that part of the rock was never carved into. If it had been a 2, I think there would be at least a dark line there, considering a lot of the number is filled with moss.

Let me know what you think; I wouldn't be surprised if I'm just looking too hard in some places.

Hey

ok i could not find my post from before with my idea on the AdGlyph.jpg but one night i had found many ideas but they were not amazing or anything but i still had all my pages up ( do not remember them all but i had the AdGlyph.jpg image up,google maps, this forum and more.) was skimming through. I remember from before there was something to do with kenya africa from the first parts of ARG. if you pay attention to the AdGlyph and the part of Africa where Kenya is. They do have similarities.

Here is a double picture i tryed to do.
http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p268/CrazyMidg3t/?action=view&current=idea.jpg

i did try to quickly outline the similarities with red.

Once again this might not have any purpose just a really similar notice.

Nothing has actually been hidden from us in any of the media we have received. Honestly, things that should have been hidden were not (i.e. slideref.img). I'm with thebruce on this one.

We haven't actually had a puzzle so I don't see our first one being so complicated and based on each of our interpretations.

Just my 2 cents.
