Hey

Even though we dont have many pauses to fill in i still think bungie will some how make it so these messages have something to do with the number 7.

Ideas
1. they could just drag it out and shorten up messages.
2. i dont have any others right now

Just a quick thought: can you text message 888 numbers? and has anyone tried?

who says there can't be a second phone call in 3 parts even? although i doubt there'll end up being 7 parts exactly... more likely there'll be just the 4 to send us to the next part of the ARG, or there'll be a whole slew of them for story purposes...

total spec: but I bet we get a new website when we get the 4th piece of conversation today. The probably mention the web address before the line about a false menu item.

I'm really hoping we get SOME new content today. Something besides a recording unnecessarily split into 4 parts.

It wasn't unnecessary. It dragged one day of useless speculation into 4 days of useless speculation. Wink

Agreed. there better be something here.

Not unnecessary at all. We've got a lot of vets here that knew that each call was a fragment of the same call and overlapping them would complete the puzzle. I'm guessing that not everyone would draw that connection.

Either way, it's content. A week ago we were complaining about nothing. Now they give us a taste and we complain that it's not enough...lol

This is just continued complaining. We still don't have any new information. The story has been dead in the water for two weeks now.

Not being American I don't know but is this number a standard number or a premium rate number?

Not to belittle the community, cuz there are a lot of very bright people here, but how dense would you have to be to NOT make that connection. I know 4 year olds who could make that connection. It's basic pattern recognition.

As for weather it was unnecessary, that depends on what's in the final part. If there's something encoded in the parts we have that we just can't see yet, then that's one thing. If the only relevant information is in call 4, and couldn't be derived from 1-3, then it was totally unnecessary.

I don't think we've missed anything. I don't think there's anything there yet. The PM's haven't been too devious in hiding things up until this point, I don't see why they would be now. I'm sure that once we've got a complete transcript of the call the next step will be obvious, or at least visible. Right now were on one side of a hegde maze with a map that says "you are here" and a mark for "Exit", but nothing but blank space between the two..

I find it funny that we're trying to complicate something simple - it's like watching Sesame Street and trying to overthink the questions and activities in the show. Challenging to some may not be challenging to all.

If it's supposed to be REALLY HARD, the marketing people missed the mark of mass appeal. It's similar to niche bands that make it big, and their original fanbase gets upset when they have to share with less hardcore fans.

I , for one, appreciate the task of being the dungeon masters, when most of us just rather be fussy little player-characters. I'd recommend we all pursue a life that makes this ARG an enriching addition, rather than letting this ARG be THE life.

Where's the fun in that?

I suggest we sit by our computers 24-7, only moving to fashion rudimentary clothing from printed MS promotional material, and obtaining sustenance from water and whatever nutrients printer ink contains. Sleep is for the weak! Wink
