Lack of Interaction

Let me begin by apologising if this is the improper place for this topic, but it seemed somehow appropriate.
I wonder if anyone would have information on whether it is to late to have recently just gotten involved with CTW.
I started Friday of last week, and so far have not gotten many of the emails to which many of you refer.
One or two of them have come, so it wouldn't be a registration issue.
My concern is that I'm lagging farther and farther behind, and I don't wish to. I have emailed an info@ something address, but have not received a response. I just wondered if there would be any feedback from the player base.

Kind regards,
Ormus

I'm now a BOOT.

I know that I don't get all of the emails, not even the ones that the characters say they will be emailing to everyone. I do get emails regularly from the characters that I keep interacting with. Even if its an occasional note to ask how they are coping, they'll often respond will some important tidbits.

Ormus,

The emails we have all recieved have been in reply to us. The characters are responding to our questions or comments we have sent to them.
And no, it is not to late for you. Please don't feel too frustrated. You have found things that no one else has. So, please ask questions and someone will try and help you. It might actually be a good thing you starting at this point. You will see things differently from the rest of us- you will have an unbiased way of looking at things. We (I) kind of know what to expect puzzle wise and PM "mind" wise from Dave (or at least I like to think I do) and only look for those certain things. You, however, won't be thinking of past game plays and can think up some new things and look at it from a new perspective.
Your Greywethers barcode is a perfect example. Check out Varin's site if you want to try and catch up. And if anything is confusing, just ask. You may find that we are just as confused as you.
So I hope you stick around. Welcome!! Very Happy

I agree with Ursulla (we think a lot alike sometimes Wink ) some of the puzzles, like the GW login, we have pounded our heads into the wall trying to solve, but the problem may not be that we just haven't put two and two together to get ten, the problem may be that we don't havve the proper code key to solve it yet. Perhaps we are not intended to solve it until the very end. But it is there on the off chance we hit it lucky and make a leap of faith. To frustrate us, to mystify us, to "make us feel like Dale" to be our own initiation into the mysteries of the Slice of reality between the worlds.

You found the barcode, that is an important step... and if it yeilds any information that will be icing on the cake at this point for those of us who have been here for a while. You see, we have gotten a bit... how shall I say this... burnt out ... on that particular puzzle. So you see, we need you, we need you to show us what we have forgotten.
Wink
