I believe that 1 3 6 is some sort of decipher key to the history. I couldn't figure out anything obvious.

That's nothing, I'm guessing. Nobody in their right mind would recommend reading cookie files, and every person's cookie is mostly different.

163 as cipher?

Hmmm... Should we apply 163 to the History text as a cipher? That would be interesting. The Engrish would be particularly good for covering that up. Would explain some of the odd phrasings. Anyone want to give it a go? If not I'll try later...

Typo or code?

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out before but, in history I see "and other ingredients naturally grown form her father's (Ryouta Yoshida) farm", this could just be a typo or another part of the messed up english but Confused

Can cookies be significant in any of this? I'm just curious because I'm looking at them (there are four of them) and one expires on 1-18 (but not until 2038) and has a pretty long ID.

Could be nothing but I don't see what they could be tracking at this point (four cookies PLUS the urchin tracker)! Forgive me if this has been posted already. I'm trying to keep up!

I don't want to discard it out of hand because of something strange I noticed happening a couple of days ago.

Before the changes to the site, I noticed that when I would try to zoom out, I'd get a dialogue box in Firefox asking me if I wanted to delete a certain number of cookies. The number of cookies was always the same as the number of times I had zoomed in. I checked the box so that it wouldn't ask me again (but now I wish I hadn't).

It strikes me as unusual that zooming in on a Flash animation would put a cookie on my computer. Anyone else have some knowledge they can lay on us?

Okay what about this.... 1 -3-6

Could that work maybe with th excessive exclamations? Word/phrases made up of 1 ! and 3! and 6! (life)? I got on that track and can't help seeing the autoreply:

Slusho! loves your mails!! You can't drink just six!!! and then seeing 'Slusho mails six.'

They did that on purpose....here they are for reference by order of appearance:

Slusho!
triumph!
refreshment!
satisfied!
Whale!
again!
Ganu!
science!

else!!!!

all!!

whale!!!

find!
earth!
freshness!!
SLUSHO!
life!!!!!!
SLUSHO!
SLUSHO!
SIX!!!

Slusho!

Maybe a combo of 1,3 and 6?

There's only one place on the whole site where a combination of 1,3, and 6 exclamation points appear together - the final page of the History.

Those words are: Slusho (twice), Six, and Life.

That gives us 1,1,3,6.

Now...for an additional spooooooooooky angle, let us wonder over to the 1-18-08 site. Come on, wander with me.

Click the party pic and turn it upside-down. See any numbers?

No, I dont mean those things that could be 5s. They don't look a lot like 5s to me. They don't scream "number" when I first glance at them.

However, I do see four numbers right of the bat. Moving from left to right: 6,1,1,3.

Anything? I dunno. Seems quite the concidinky, though.

Can someone tell me if I'm hallucinating, or if my GMail account is being weird with me?

I sent some test emails to Satoshi's email address at Slusho, and I got responses.

I decided to try to send him the same email six or more times. So I sent him one, got a response. I sent him a brand new, identical email (same subject, same body) and got... nothing.

Is that the way it is? Are repetitive, identical emails getting ignored, or is that GMail being pseudo-nice and collecting all my emails in to "conversations" I can't see?

*EDIT*: I also, for kicks, sent Satoshi a GMail invite. Hey, he needs a real email address too, don't he?

I haven't seen this pointed out yet:

In the history section, "...SLUSHO! came to life!!!!!!" and in the trailer, of course, "...It's alive! It's huge!"

Confused

heh maybe it's just one huge commercial for a new slushee type drink. "THIS SLUSHO THING IS GONNA BE GREAT! IT'LL BE LIKE IT'S ALIVE! IT'S GONNA BE HUGE!" Very Happy

Fishcheese
Possibilities

So, I went with the "Fish Cheese, Donkey Oven Mitt" concept and poked around. I found a cheese (Sweet Meunster?) that is served with fish and crackers. It's nicknamed "Munchee" so, I went ahead a Googled it, and got mostly REAL websites but, I did run across a myspace account for Muncheegurrrls that has a person in their buddylist named "Princess Oven Mitt". At first glance, it appears to have come into existence on July 1st but, I haven't had a chance to research it.

this is also interesting...

the omega-3 fatty acids normally found in fish are now being found in the cheese made from the milk of Alpine cows in Switzerland:

i know we're probably looking WAY beyond what was intended, but I found it intriguing.[/url]

Lawyers

When you lookup the site on a DNS search to get contact info, you get

Satoshi Karashima

and

Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer

Ironically, a google search turns up both as lawyers.

Get anything from this?

I can tell you that IF they set cookies for zooming, that is huge. The problem is that I have zoomed and checked my cookies and they do not seem to set any. They just set four initial cookies when you visit the site.

Which page did you zoom on that set cookies?
