Re:Satoshi hunt

Oh, its part of another game? Embarassed Forgive me, I'm a noob here and to ARGs in general. Just thought since we were tracking this allusive Satoshi, it might be worth a shot, my bad.

Hmm.. hope this wasn't in one of the pages I skimmed through in the parent thread (I've actually "read" the whole thread):
I had an idea about ciphers in the text on the history pages, especially because of the faux "japanese-to-english" translation. We already had an idea about the number six being significant so what would happen if one took every 6th word or character? I wrote a small script and fed it a version of the text with all newlines removed:

So.. unfortunately, unless you guys can see something I don't that was a dead end as well.. And please don't make this fuel for the straw graspers.. Wink

Try it with pattern 1 6 3 and 1 3 6 ?

Under feedback, the Slusho site gives an email address for contact of SatoshiSPLATslusho.jp, suggesting that internal email addresses would be in the format of (firstname)@slusho.jp . Has anyone tried to contact ganuSPLATslusho.jp, norikoSPLATslusho.jp, etc.?

Ganu address gives error autoreply:

Has anyone tried searching Rob up on Myspace. I know some movies have myspace profiles for their characters. I thought maybe that if Rob or someone had a profile, it could shed some light as to WHY he's going to Japan.

Ass that thought

The donkey thinking of a mitt or mitten is really strange. I chased the thought and the best I could do was www.ovenmitten.com. Translated from Google http://tinyurl.com/2r3v2p

Maybe just a metaphor for a sweet treat?

EDIT: Tinyurled the very long url to prevent forum stretching -xnbomb

webhosting, http://www.hostpuppies.com/support.html

While the non web design number is East Valley Phoenix Metro area, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale their offices are in Riverside CA

Actually that phone number comes up with a lot of sites, mostly web hosting. I think it's simply a generic Customer Service service people pay for.

On other sites I've seen the number, you're instructed to tell them when you call what company you're calling about. Since it's a generic number for God knows how many companies, they don't know why you're a customer of.

Re: Wordgames

If we took the 6th word from every 6th word we get.

Noriko form new world drink big night from anything its whale

The first 4 words could mean the Post-Apocalypse world? lol
The rest don't make sense.

Tell Slusho NOW!!

I've e-mailed all kinds of gobbledygook to satoshiSPLATslusho.jp, since it says "Tell Slusho NOW!!" Then I thought, well, that's not really telling Slusho now, that's actually somewhat delayed. So I enabled mic input in the Flash settings and connected a mic. And then I told Slusho I am happy!

And then I felt very dumb, because it did absolutely nothing. But what a great idea for some other ARG!
