Shocked

Uh, you forgot one.

Slusho Zoom!

Razz

I changed mine to this one too. In case this ever turns out to be the vaguest bit relevant, there are 11 images to the new aim gif.

PS Does anyone have a specific time they changed the aim icon? Was this the same date they changed the downloads page, which was July 11thish? Or has it been since then - so I can add it to the timeline.

Thanks

I really really think this is a phone number. I did some google mappin' and found that the area code for the 401 broadway area is (212)

So, call away. In case you don't feel like having to read my handwriting, it's (212)-665-1773

i googled 1773 and got this

oven mitt and whales
stretchy theory about the donkey's oven mitt

I searched on the forum for this and found nothing, so here goes.

Googling "blue oven mitt", I found there is a brand for silicon oven mitts called Orka which immediately made me think of Orcas, commonly known (and mistakenly named) as "killer whales". Sticking with the false view that orcas are whales (they are related to dolphins), that would make them the "smallest whales", like Norika (and I find too odd they are capitalizing the nickname for not being a clue).

The donkey disappears after 1 pass... Noriko disappears at sea.

Maybe the donkey represents Noriko in some way?

Stretchy, I know.

If I'm not mistaken, NY is running out of 212 numbers, which is why they introduced the 646 code... It could also work.

 Oven Mit and Cheese
Possible?

I'm new to these boards, but am thrilled to have found them!

I was doing some looking at slusho.jp last night and thought I would look into translations for "oven mit" and "cheese." I wasn't able to find oven mit, but cheese is "chiizu." I started googling that and different combinations of that and mit.

What I found was kind of interesting. There is a band from the Netherlands out there called "Tenuzu no Chiizu" (Dairy no Cheese?). Not all that interesting in and of itself, but that band is made up of members of "The Julie Mittens." In reading some reviews and looking at the information out there, the band has been described as Japanese-sque. In listening to them I can see that...

Now, I see that both bands have been around for a couple of years, so I don't think they were created for the film, but it's quite possible that they are either A) an inside joke B) a red herring C) a site designer/fan homage D) a credit (like they did the music for the site?) or E) an actual clue. (of course there is always F) Nothing at all but me grasping at straws.)

I haven't been able to find evidence of an actual clue, but this is the first time I have come up with ANYTHING where chese and mits/mittens have come up together in some coherent way.

Here are the first couple of links I found:

http://tenuzu.com/links.html

Slusho Icon
Slusho Icon

I tried to set my AIM Icon to the slusho Icon that is provided in the downloads page...but it says that the file is too big and that you can only use icons of a size 7168 bytes and smaller. The icon turns out to be 13,800 bytes. Why would they create an AIM Icon that is too big to use?

Has anyone else had this problem as well?

Everyone has. That's the reason why I went and optimized it further here.

In Alias, was there ever any indication of the name of the store where they get the Slusho?

Here's the clip, but I've never seen before or after it.

So irritating. How much money do you think these people are making by getting people to go here and give them $0.25 to sign up for their stupid "newsletter?" I think all of these guest people who keep fanning this thing are getting a cut of the cash.

I could make a site that "explained" all of these things too. They'd be called lies. Please don't give these people money! You think J.J. Abrams would need it? Rolling Eyes

Looked for this:

Has anyone else noticed that it used to say "BET you can't drink just six!" at the end of the history text? It has since changed to "You Can't Drink Just Six!!!"

Sorry if this is a repeat.

212-665-1773 number says it's not in service at this time. The onther numbers I tried....the toll free numbers are legitimate business, not related, and slushozoom backwards is not a real phone number. Smile At least I tried.

Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but as a Japanese language student I just wanna point out that "no" expresses ownership of something. In this case, Tenuzu no Chiizu literally means The Dairy's Cheese or Cheese of the Dairy.
Again, not relevant, but just pointing it out. ^_^
