Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but as a Japanese language student I just wanna point out that "no" expresses ownership of something. In this case, Tenuzu no Chiizu literally means The Dairy's Cheese or Cheese of the Dairy.
Again, not relevant, but just pointing it out. ^_^

Thanks! I was just guessing. And who knows...it might be relevant...seems like anything might be...or might not be...

Slusho Icon

I tried to set my AIM Icon to the slusho Icon that is provided in the downloads page...but it says that the file is too big and that you can only use icons of a size 7168 bytes and smaller. The icon turns out to be 13,800 bytes. Why would they create an AIM Icon that is too big to use?

Has anyone else had this problem as well?

I had the same problem. I think it might have to do with the version of AIM and I remember I had to do an update recently to the newest version. Some people can get it to work.

They have changed it back to non-animated now on Slusho.jp and that might be why they did. Too many people weren't able to get it to work. Smile

Donkeys

I apologize if someone's already done this, but while people have talked about these elements separately, it seems like there's a small unifying theme which may be running through the Slusho clues.

The first thing people have been focusing on is the underwater donkey - it's a hotspot, it's a donkey under the ocean, thinking about an oven mitt, and it disappears never to be seen again. Certainly odd.

However, that's not the only abberant donkey...or at least I don't think it is. On the main slash screen, mousing over the six buttons yields a different animal each time. The pattern seems to be this, for me:

Feedback: Donkey/Fish
Store: Fish/Frog
Downloads: Frog/Chicken
History: Chicken/Donkey
Happy Talk: Donkey/Fish
Flavors: Fish/Nothing

Note that donkeys and frogs always appear on the left, and chickens and fish always appear on the right

Flavors is an abberation in that it has no right side animal. to have even numbers of each kind of right hand animal, by rights it should be a frog...however, we also have evidence based on the frog/chicken split that the number of animals don't have to be even. In any case, that flavors button is taunting me with its strange behavior...and of course, we have a donkey wandering through a part of the site where it shouldn't be. It feels like the two might be related.

(Also, for reference in case it comes up, the sayings are:
Donkey: "Slusho zoom!"
Fish: "Fresh for you!!"
Frog: "You'll come back for more Slusho, soon!"
Chicken: "Just another Slusho update for you"
It's worth noting that the girl says "Fresh for you!!" and the boy says "Slusho zoom!" on the history screen when moused over.)

Finally, we do have one last reference to donkeys. In the Abrams letter, he has ASS in large letters, followed by a possibly intentional omission of the word "ass" a few words later. Donkeys are a type of ass, and so this may be a pointer to the fact that the donkeys on the Slusho site are in general odd.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas off the top of my head. Apologies if this is trout - but it seems like things are stuck a touch, so I wanted to throw out my impressions.

Strange E-mail
Strange E-mail

Ok, I got a very strange e-mail just now. It is from the g-mail account

Ganu Yoshida <slusho> to me
show details 1:19 pm (13 minutes ago)

We are excited about the recent interest of our delicious drink. My mom worked for many years to perfect the flavor of SLUSHO! After the tragedy of her passing I finished the process and soon the results will be know.

Has anyone else recieved this e-mail?

At first galnce I suspect that someone is screwing with me simply because it is a g-mail account, but that is the only reason that I doubt the e-mails authenticity. Is there anyway to look up more information on a specific e-mail account?

If anyone wants to see a screen shot of the e-mail I would be happy to post a link.

Upon reflection, yes, you're probably right. I'll go back and edit the post accordingly.

It doesn't seem real to me, and only for the fact that he said
"My mom"

just sounds weird. Like he should have said mother...
maybe it's just me, but I guess I feel the e-mail would be more proper and less personalized.

The email says its from slusho.freshSPLATgmail.com. I thought that site was determined to be unrelated. Foily!

Also, the mail from Satoshi returns your Subject along with [AUTO-REPLY]... This doesn't follow the same format. It could be intentional, but again, it's a /gmail/ address and not a slusho.jp address as well.

Probably a fake, unless if someone can prove otherwise?

Anyone can say they got an e-mail but until we see the screenshot so we can pick it apart it didn't happen.

Strange E-mail
Strange E-Mail

See thats the weird thing, I havn't sent any e-mails to the SatoshiSPLATslusho.jp address in quite some time. The only thing that I have done that has been pro-active was I set up AIM and tried to instante message a few key names, because someone had mentioned how strange it was that there was specificly an AIM Icon on the downloads page, the AIM Icon could be a clue that there are some auto-reply AIM bots out there that would lead to more clues.

So after reaching a dead end with no responses from the key names that I tried to instante message I gave up. Then, all of a sudden I got this mail.

I do aggree that because of the gmail.com extension it lacks credibility of being unique, but it still kinda freaked me out. I don't know who could be pulling my leg here.
