Ok, I've been at this for hours with my high school level Photoshop skills, or lack there of, and all I can tell is theres something there, I don't know if its a website, or just a phrase or quote or what, I ran it through some tools to sorta highlight what I'm talking about. Something isn't meant to be seen here, question is what. Ill keep at it, but not this morning, a lot of the things I did to the screencaps I didn't post because they became too messy still.

just wanted to say i watched this is HD as well, and 1 frame before the frame you guys are all lookin at, i swear I see "79" in the "B". perhaps we take the 2 frames and combine them?!

Personally I'm guessing they go after the Prophets homeworld ato make sure the war is over and if I remember rightly the prophets homeworld was originally the Forerunners homeworld.

The prophets aren't neccisarily on the Forerunner homeworld. Just one with lots of Forerunner ruins.

True but didn't one of the books mention that they were from the Forerunner's home world? Either Fall of Reach or First Strike.

I'm pretty sure it just said they were on a planet with lots of Forerunner artifacts...and, apparently, there are lots of planets like that (Onyx, Reach, Earth, the gas planet you see in H2, etc.)

Makes you wonder how many planets the Forerunners stripped bare to construct all the halos etc. Thats a lot of metal.

BTW I watched the video again in slow mo and I don't think there is anything hidden in the Bungie logo at the end. I think it would be to obvious for them to do that.

IDK, I still think somethings there but its really, REALLY hidden. I can see this because the community has solved previous puzzles pretty fast... so this ones a bit of a challenge if indeed thats what it is. I still can't make out any characters definitely but perhaps someone else can. I posted the individual frames from the E3 Video of the Bungie "hidden message". They are frames 3818 through 3834, 00:02:07.419 through 00:02:07.928 respectively, a little more than half a second Razz

. 3828 and 3829 are IMO the most useful. Ive tagged each screencap with its frame number. Go look for yourself:

I downloaded one of the screen shots of the Bungie logo and played with it in Gimp. I did an edge detect and it looks like there might be something there. I grabbed image 8 from the above link and I can just about make out what look like W I C but it might just be my mind filling in none existent blanks.
