SLUSHO ZOOM

Don't you find it funny that when you click on the pic of the Statue of Liberty, you are taken to a cooking receipe for CHEESE. Maybe the horse dreaming of an oven mitt (reference to cooking) and the fish dreaming of cheese on the http://www.slusho.jp/ are trying to point us into the direction of the receipe listed on the http://www.slushozoom.com site????

On SLUSHO ZOOM, the top center statement mentions the number "one" twice.

Also on the SLUSHO ZOOM site, you can make a donation of .25 to the "bath" fund and it states that you will get a reply in 6 days (which is in boldface).

I'm just throwing thoughts out there. Rolling Eyes

This slusho zoom site is confusing me. So many links. I'm not sure 25 cents is too much to donate, but it doesn't seem like a secure site.

Hes referring to the link/pic of the SOL on slushozoom.com, widely debunked gamejack, but there may be something there. I do't think its anything, but at this point, I won't rule anything out.

Support@slushozoom.com

I sent an email...inquiring about getting a list of ingredients used in their Slusho drink (because of my many allergies, lol) and It came back with an "unrouteable address" message. ???

RENNET

okay, this might be REALLY REACHING, but I did some research on the ingredient RENNET, which is used to make Neufchatel Cheese and the mention of "curds and whey" keeps appearing. I hope it's not a giant spider attacking NYC. I HATE SPIDERS!!!! Shocked

Bare with me...new at this and really tired, lol.

Slushozoom really looks like a gamejack. Created July 12th and it goes ahead and makes the link between slusho and 1-18-08 for us with not good reason for doing so.

Also Neuffatchel is more like cream cheese than swiss!

Slushozoom is just trying to hard.

I opened all the desktops in all the sizes in photoshop and went to File>File Info...

Nothing in there at all. Same with the icon. Although, I'm not sure if this is odd or not, but the icon's color mode was set to Indexed. I'm not sure what that means, I always use RGB or CMYK. I also opened the icon in Imageready. Nothing strange there either. It has one frame of the slusho cup, one frame of "Slusho!" text tilted one direction, another the other direction, and each is set to 2 seconds. Each 2 second frame is tweened with the next 2 second frame with 2 frames in between. The first frame is one of the "in between" frames, not one of the 2 second frames though.

Probably nothing.

Indexed just means ithe values in the image refer to a color lookup table/palette instead of true colors. GIF images are paletted images.

the 'shirt' you reference in the 'tagged' picture (http://bayimg.com/fADGHAaBp) is actually rob's elbow. and the '9' (or 8 or 6) is DEFINITELY NOT bricks. if it were, you'd see white coming from the top-left of the '9'. the lines are too think, even for 'over-exposed' brick. plus your 'no t-shirts' observation is proved wrong by the SLUSHO! shirt in the same picture. honestly i applaud your effort, but i disagree with your findings.

If that '9' is really the front of his shirt, then scary man would have to be a hunchback or something, the proportions of his body would be completely wrong, you see no neck, no shoulders, nothing.

It's the wall.

This is my first post here, I hope I'm sort of doing the right thing by posting this, I have no idea. I took a screenshot from the trailer and enhanced some areas between the buildings and there definitely seems to be something there (looks like a large man hunched over!);

Smokey image

I'm hoping to be able to download the HD trailer somehow and have a mess with it in Quicktime Pro to try and enhance some more sections.

Apologies if I'm in the wrong posting this here but I thought I'd give it a go because I'm loving this 11808 stuff. Very Happy

Explosion

Hi again, I wanted to post some stuff based on the explosion from the trailer. My first impression was that there was something strange about it. I chalked it up to CGI special effect artistic licence, and that may be the case. If the unique characteristics of explosion are intentional then thats another story.

So here is my little over anaylisis of the explosion, I suppose this stems from living next to a major city as well as a fascination/fear of a full scale nucular war during the early 80's, sorry for the long post...

The explosion seems to be coming from an area between the Woolworth Building and the Municipal Building. Right between those two buildings is City Hall.

If you look on a map you can see that the Woolworth Building is actually south west of the Municipal Building yet with close inspection of the trailer you can see the fireball is behind the Woolworth Building and partially engulfing the Municipal building. In fact there is no easy way to place a large spherical type explosion at City Hall without completely engulfing the Woolworth. It would be possible I suppose that the explosion is elongated stretching diagonally between Church St. & Vesey St. up to Chambers St. & and Center St. however I think that's over analyzing the CG effect. The more likely answer is the CG artist was probably told to create a cool looking explosion in the general area and that the Woolworth should be kept intact. Also there isn't much in the area of City hall, casualties could be low for an explosion like this.

The explosion initially appears to be of fairly high yield at or below ground level with the initial fireball diameter at about 1500 feet, a little over a quarter mile, which would put it in line with being around 150 kilotons.

Thankfully there seems to be little or no shock-wave or static overpressure which would level buildings up to 2+ miles away, including the location of Rob's party, in most high yield explosions it is the static overpressure that causes the highest casualties. A 150 kiloton detonation would have a shock-front that travels at roughly 500 mph with a force of 20psi or 360 tons. The lack of shock-wave would suggest the explosion does not carry the characteristics of a nuclear or chemical based explosive.

The fireball must be a relatively low temperature since none of buildings seem to be actually ignited by thermal radiation during the initial blast. When Rob and co. reach ground level there is what appears to be thick black smoke near the Woolworth building and no indication of fire or winds that might be fueling a firestorm. Possibly some catalyst was in the air which burned off quickly causing little further fire damage outside the blast radius.

Although it is not shown in the trailer there would likely be an ominous mushroom cloud rising above the buildings. The latest picture from 01/18/08 was/will be taken about 12 to 15 minuets after the explosion. There is thick white dust in the air and coating everything in the shot. It is unknown if this is dust fallout from the initial blast or the effects a later event.

The initial blast has debris streaming up from it's center of which large chunks are projected up and out to a distance of about a mile (The party location). How this is possible is not clear given the low static overpressure, however it could suggest that the initial blast was below ground, this might produce a crater about 3 or 400 feet wide. If you look at pictures of underground nuke testing you see a similar pattern of debris shooting up from the point of detonation.

A below ground detonation would remove much of the shock-wave before moving above ground so nearby buidings might survive. At the same time the air and debris near the point of detonation may be super heated causing a fireball like explosion at ground level after coming into contact with some combustible material such as methane. Still the effects of this would probably knock down buildings in the immediate vicinity.

I guess the point is that if they did their research, (your guess on that is as good as mine), they could have made this explosion do whatever they wanted. I think that if they wanted to knock down buildings right away they would have. So whats the point? One could speculate that it is underground, bursts into a huge fireball once reaching ground level, burns off quickly with little further damage. It's definatly not a nuke, probably not conventional, not much of a weapon even for a fireball breathing monster. I am assuming there is a point even if its a small one.

Ok sorry... move along... nothing to see here.
