SOTA didn't really lead us to the first server... the comic lead us to the first server. SOTA was just something we happened to discover at the same time. Remember it was the countdown IP, not SOTA, that we found in the last page of the comic.

So far SOTA has been pretty unconnected to the servers.
I don't think their part is over yet.

This is only because we started out of order, not in the order the PMs intended. We were supposed to find SOTA first

technically, we don't know yet if the order we found things greatly altered the PMs schedule or plan, let alone if we did actually find stuff out of order. We'll find that out afterwards I'm sure... maybe

Did the ILB people come out later and point out things people missed, or goofs they made? Was there a "draw back the curtain" moment?

Never during the ARG. If there was a mistake or something changed during the ARG, it caused the PMs to rewrite, in-game, to accomodate actions of the players - they never willingly drew back the curtain. (more than, of course, hints and references such as the recurring "7" for Bungie)

Since nothing has changed with SOTA pretty much at all since we discovered them (arguably) early, I would say that the time of their discovery hasn't affected the intended plot at all. But, it's not over, so who knows. So far, there's no indication we 'messed anything up' as it were

Your forgetting that SOTA also linked to the countdown ip. The comic and SOTA are two separate paths that lead to the same place. Multiple entry points so to speak.

It might be pretty awesome if the "local meetings" ended up being a way to finally close up the game or something of the sort.
