 		 What if... we are making the movie?
Just for fun… have you ever consider the possibilities that there's nothing behind this movie?
I mean, if JJ Abrams just want to use a realistic cinematographic language like the live reportage in an absolute fantastic situation, and that's the only idea. Then he start all this madness on the net and tons of people like you and me are making assumptions about the connection with Slusho, and guessing about form and background of the creature.
Then, the good old JJ, on his PC is studying the better idea to make a plausible plot… or studying what we are saying to do the opposite and make a really surprising movie.
I know that is a very implausible theory, but considering 2 things:
1) The staff could shoot now just some panic situation (that is suitable for any plot evolution), so JJ and his team has the time to take ideas from the net and put them in the project. (considering that some cast member are hired on fly, a plot to be could be plausible)
2) Slusho and 1-18-08 don't seems to take anywhere, the seems to be there just to fuel our imagination.

 		actually, yes, others have mentioned the possibility that abrams has people combing the net getting ideas from people on the forums.

did you ever think that maybe the things you can't see don't actually exist? like, maybe, everything behind you... just isn't there?

Yup. Snakes on a Plane was done that way, more or less, and it was a financial and critical disaster. Paramount can't be that stupid, or can they?

almost, 1-18-08 or Clover was pitched to and secretely greenlit by paramount. There's a script, or at least a detailed treatment, in a safe in a nice office. maybe that's a slight stretch, but not far off; the secrecy can only mean that the intelectual property is an extremely high value to the company, and there aren't any holes in the plot/story. the low budget is only a reflection of the unique style and format the film is to be released on, half of it said to be used on cg. I have no doubts, if any, that our online ranting will only contribute to additions that may or may not be shot and/or finalized, and then may or may not be cut and left on the floor waiting for dvd.

right now, with less than 2mins of footage, some teaser one sheets, and the random online, this movie is better than soap will ever be. even if I leave the theater and wish to hunt mr. abrams, I will tell you now- comparing the two should be forbidden.

did you guys catch the 'snake' button on the microwave? Laughing my fucing dad caught it and made us rewind it. i recall in living color when david allen g and marlon waynes did movie reviews as trannys.
