biblical reference

did anyone ever consider that 719 and 716 and 713 were biblical passages from gensis heres how they read...

713: In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark

716: And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him: and Jehovah shut him in.

719: And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high mountains that were under the whole heaven were covered.

I find it intresting that puttin these numbers in order seem to spell out a story, like it flows well...idk what exactly it could mean

John 1:17

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 11:7
Quote:
Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judea again.

While the biblical flood story may be a coincident, I think it's worth keeping in mind. After the flood God made a covenant with every living thing to never again destroy the world by flood. The symbol of that covenant was a rainbow. I find that particular detail a little hard to ignore.

Bungie 101--no, PRE-Bungie courses would have told you that Bungie loves Biblical references. What you're discussing now has been passed around since the original Halo release. If you're going to SPEC, do it right and do a little research.

I don't know about Bungie 101, but I do know that the relation between the Flood and the Covenant has been around since halo, so many shouldn't be surprised at the Ark's appearance, too. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Halo pulse lasts 40 days.

Basically, the biblical parallels aren't new ideas.
