It's a long one, and it looks like I'm the first to watch it, so I just wanted to post, walkthrough in a few, after I watch it.

White on black background: Let's take a trip down memory lane

Then, the camera goes through a long line of pictures and artifacts from earlier in the game, with a young girl's voice narrating.

Camera focuses on a picture of a young woman, about teenage-20s standing near a beach.Screen flashes and this image turns into a video clip of the woman running on the beach near the waves, occasionally looking at the camera. The bottom right corner has the date 6.5.01

The young woman runs up to the camera, and begins speaking (inaudible on the video), presumably to the person behind the camera.

Suddenly, the woman is fully clothed, and walking towards a boardwalk.

The video continues with various clips of the woman, trying on accessories, playing a whack a mole game, and doing other boardwalk type of activities. The clip stops on her smiling face, and the camera pans out to show said image in a gold frame, similar to the ones at the beginning of the video.

The camera begins moving, showing a gift of some sort (Appears to be an unopened greeting card, with an envelope that says "To Mom, Love Russ and Dad", then a picture of the girl from the clip holding that envelope.

This flashes, and again turns into a clip, dated 5.11.03.

The woman opens the card, and reads it. The greeting card itself seems pretty standard, and has black marker writing on the bottom that says "MOM, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. YOU ARE THE BEST MOM. LOVE, RUSS." She reacts, and the clip ends, suddenly, with a clip of someone (Looks like Eric) shuffling around in a dark room with a red light. Screenshot:



The camera goes back to the 5.11.03 clip, with the woman opening a gift bag full of candles.

The camera quickly goes back to the dark/red screen and the man seems to take his shirt off.

The camera quickly goes back to the video, with the woman reaching for something off screen and smiling. The camera pans back, and we see this image in another frame.

The camera begins moving, again, and we see a piece of birthday cake with several lit candles on it. Then, we see another image of the woman in a frame, with a smile on her face. This turns into a video dated 8.21.05.

It appears to be a cookout of some sort. There's a lot of unintelligible chatter in the background, as the woman flips burgers on a grill, and drinks beer.

We briefly see the red screen again, and it appears the man is now kissing a woman.

Back to the video, but it's now dated 8.23.05. The woman is now on a play ground, and seems to be speaking with a young child. They are playing catch (we don't see the child).

Now, the video has the woman with a huge cake full of candles (appears to be the same kind of cake that was in the video earlier. The video thins, and we see the red room again (it's a little hard to tell what it happening, as the video of the woman and the cake is overlapping the image. )

This video pans out on the woman and the cake, and the image is yet again in a gold frame. However, this time, the screen has a red hue, similar to the one in the screenshot I took.

(Brief image of the woman in a nightgown in a random room. I'm assuming he did this just to have something to make the thumbnail of the video. )

Back to the red tint camera. It's moving again. We see a small statue, some cans resembling tuna fish cans, and what looks like a champagne bottle. I can't really tell what it is, so

Quick flash of the red room, it appears empty this time, and back to the red tinted place with the statue. The camera keeps moving, and we see a picture of a couch, in a plain black frame. The picture itself flashes to a shot of the red room, briefly, and then we are taken inside of it. The colors turn to normal, and we see a man walking towards the couch. It's Eric. We see a montage of clips of Eric drinking in the living room. A few times he falls asleep. A few times it seems he's had a bit too many, and is vomiting in a trash can.

The screen turns to black after the shot of him vomiting. We hear a recording say "1st saved message."

There's a shot of a cell phone as the message is heard. The cell phone has a picture of the woman, and the message is Eric. He addressed the woman as Sue. He says this is "Like the millionth time" he's called, and she's not picking up her phone. As the message goes on, the screen goes away from a cellphone and to a picture in a gold frame. It's a nice house with a pool, and a woman sitting in the corner. She has her head in her hands briefly, and then looks around. Eric (on the recording) says he's having a hard time not talking to Sue. The screen begins to fade from the image of the house to an image of Eric talking on the phone. The two image appear together, overlapping. As Eric confesses he hasn't been able to eat or sleep, and has started drinking again. He claims that all he can think about is Sue. He says he is still in love with her, as the screen begins to go back to being just the woman (It is the woman from the other videos.) at the house. She walks offscreen.

The screen turns to show the woman drinking in a house. The message is still running, and now Eric is saying he knows Sue still loves him, and what they had was special. The screen goes to show the woman in a modern living room. It's various shots overlapped, of the woman reacting to different things. The three woman fade in and out, one of the throws a pillow to the floor. The other two don't really do much. I like this shot a lot, and I haven't shown you guys the woman, so

Eric says on the message "The worse thing in the world is regret, and I don't want to regret losing you." (Smart guy). The message ends and we see the woman in the fetal position, cuddling a pillow on a bed. The camera pans out on this, and we see it as a picture in a gold frame, surrounded by candles. The camera moves and we see candles pretty much surrounding the entire room. We see two wine glasses, filled with a dark liquid, before we see a picture of the woman. This turns into a clip dated 2.13.06. It shows the woman sitting on a couch, trying to take the camera from whomever is holding it.

New clip, one day later (2.14.06). It shows the woman walking past some storefronts on a sunny day. And, then shows the woman toasting a candlelit dinner with the person behind the candle (They toast with the two wine glasses seen earlier. ) She takes a sip and says "Happy Valentine's Day.". This echoes as we are taking back to the room with the woman in her nightgown.

She twirls it a bit, and then we are taken to Eric's current living place. He has a bag over his head, and a sign around his neck that says "SO SHY GROOM DIES OUR."



The screen goes back and forth between the woman in her nightgown and the red room, while "Happy Valentine's Day" still echoes. We see this:



briefly, and then more shots of the the women in her nightgown. She crawls into a near by bed, and puts her hand over the camera.

The screen is black for a while, and we hear some static as Eric says "Relax, no one knows about this"

As he is saying this, the following words flash across the screen:

"Relax"
"I didn."
"E tobr"
"I ngpe"
"A cebu"
"O meto"
"B utas"
"W ordi"
"P eace"
"D idno"
"I know"
(List may be incomplete.)

We then see Codemaster holding something (looks like a knife) to Eric's bagged head.



This pans back to that photo in a frame, with the letters "J S" on it. The camera keeps panning, and we see a knife and a mask surrounding the picture. That turns out to be a picture, in a frame with the letters " E L". There's a bloody rag and a shovel in the ground around that frame, which turns out to be another picture, frame labelled "S L". We hear a child talking to someone, sounds like Eric. The camera continues panning, we see a two other frames surrounding that frame (one has a picture of a woman, one has a picture of small blonde haired boy.) . This is shown to be a picture, on a bed. The frame has the letters " U T". The bed it's on has a wilting rose, and a box of condoms. It also has a ripped condom wrapper. This is a picture, in a frame labelled "S K". This begins to flicker with static, and we hear the woman say "Maybe you don't realize how fucked up this situation has become. " We see that the photo is attached to Eric's head, in a bag. We hear "I'm not going to let you get away, and that's a promise." from the message earlier, over what sounds like a heartbeat. The camera begins to go back into the photos, showing us all what was in them, again, this time at a much faster pace.

The heartbeat begins to increase it's pace, as the screen goes black. We hear what sounds like a small child say "I'm waiting". It echoes. Small portions of the screen begin to flash a gold light (doesn't appear to be reveling anything, I may be wrong.) and we see a close up of the statue from earlier. It looks like a crude carving of Jesus. We hear Eric's voice say "It'll be our secret."

The screen fades to black, again. White text appears that says "The truth will be exposed." "Phase two is coming..." "Join my story".

We then see some links to the vital sites (The Youtube, The blogspot, and his email.) The screen fades to black, and the video ends.

So, um. Wow? Talking about a meaty video. There's a little bit too much storyline in that one to really digest.

I think this pretty much verifies the sue-eric-CM theory. CM seems to have had a clue for some time that something was going on between eric and Sue, and this appears to be the reason that he's persecuting eric...

some quick things I picked up on while watching the video:
the sign around eric's neck read :
so shy groom dies our

no clue what this means as of yet, might I just say this seems different from CM's normal method of simply writting everything in code. hmmm....

also, did anyone pay attention to the letters on the frames near the end? here they are in the pairs they appeared on screen:

E L
S L
U I
S K

as you can see, it reads JESUS KILLS, though I think this is yet another encoded message. but...isn't that kind of odd anyways, that CM would even make a code like that? I mean...isn't he suppose to be something of a bible thumper? *strokes goatee like a intellectual* HMMMMMM INDEED!

that's as much as I garnered from it. also, near the end, before the words I know were displayed on screen, there was a series of letters and words that flashed rather quickly. I think they were mixed, but it went a little too quick for my eyes....

PS: was it just me, or did this video make everyone else sad, too Sad?

 		Made me sad. Strikes close to home.

I'm working on getting a definitive listing of the letters (they appear to be random, except for the last few) together. I'll try to have it up in a bit. My pausin finger hurts.

so our shy groom dies

but just the fact the words arn't in order keeps me from thinking that...but then again, shy groom? who would the shy groom be? CM? Eric? who? I have a feeling it's maybe a reference to eric, but...like I said...just they way it's wrote around his neck keeps me thinking it's a encoded message.

EDIT: also, the words appear to be in sync with what eric is saying. in fact, it even looks like what he's saying. but ya know...all mixed up.

 		That's exactly what I got from the sign.

I think you might be right, Jack. It's very unlike him to give us something so...uncoded. lol

Here's what I've been able to glean from the flashing text. I don't have any kind of film editing software, but it's a starting ground. Better minds than my own can expound on this more than I.

that's as much as I can remember off the top of my head. it's what Jesus said to (I think) his disciples. in my personal opinion, he(jesus) was commenting on how he knew christianity would divide the world.
but this directly contradicts the jesus kills tidbit, doesn't it?

 		I wonder if she isn't the bride... and dead already (as I connect the hand covered in soil to her).

Now we know that "Sue" (I suspect her to be Sue - I can't listen to the audio as my PC is acting up right now so any clarification is impossible to me) has a child named "Russ" (which I consider to be the nickname version of "Russell", as in Russell Crowe).

And Jack, if I have seen it right, he is using a black plastic bag to force suffocation on Eric... So our "shy groom" is gonna die (or already dead as it takes a while to edit the images together).

 		Yeah, I caught that. Luke is vaguely similar.

The whole 'division in the household' thing...goes back to maybe CM and Eric being related.

I wish I could take that damn video apart frame by frame. I have this funny feeling that I missed something, and it's something important. Crazy codes.

 		Ok. I just watched the thing again. There's a part, during the whole zooming out of the pictures - where a child's voice says 'My daddy says I'm different'.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that's the aforementioned Russ.

So how is he different? Assuming (once again - that's gonna get me in trouble) that Russ was the child visible in the picture, how is he different? And is there any chance that maybe, just MAYBE, Eric is his father?

Think this is of any consequence? Or am I grasping at straws?

edit: Removed my crappy list of video datestamps in favor of BoBo's much better one.

I think it's very possible Russ is Eric and Sue's child.

Some Battlecat conjecture:

What if we add the completely random (?) Jesus Kills tag from the picture frames into the mix, creating something along the lines of 'Jesus kills, so our shy groom dies'? My reasoning behind this - CM may see himself as some sort of redeeming figure - given his almost zealot-ish religous tendancies - and thinks that he's cleansing the 'lost lamb' Eric of his sins in some kind of blood baptism.

- OR -

Russ is different, apparently. Maybe Eric needs to die for HIS sins, though it's hard for me to imagine what sins a child could commit that would require that. Or he's simply being used to redeem his child.

Or I'm going crazy, and need to switch to decaf.
