ha, the clue for the puzzle piece on the website today says:

Quote:
We have hidden a puzzle piece in a secret directory on this website;

It is fun to solve though.

Answer in clear site on the wiki

Clue 17

It comes up easily using the tool below and doing a search for English words and a limit of 2 words - there are only a few results and it is in the bunch.

Future Clues..

I decided to mess around.. and see if I could find a piece before the clue was released.. and I found this..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

http://www.cookinstyle.co.uk/default.aspx?act=Utext&txt=Golden%20Jigsaw

"You do not need to register or sign-up with cookinstyle to find the piece, it is located within 2 clicks of our homepage www.cookinstyle.co.uk. Our piece will go live on the 10th August 2007."

*I added BOLD to show the future*

--------------------------------------
ETA:

This one too... it has this text so far...

"Use the clues below to find the two jigsaw pieces within ********.**.**"

(and then it has a blank space where clues would be, if they were ready to go)(I took out the name of the site with ***)

and

^^-- this one looks like it's up and ready,... but the clues are currently beyond my brainpower..

(BTW: If anyone wants me to stop.. just say so.. I'm just having a little fun here.. no harm intended while it's still so early in the game)

Did anyone notice they've suddenly developed an urge to let us know what the solutions and winners were for the wild card rounds?

No, I haven't had a chance to contact anyone, yet.

It was at the top of the clue page. You then had to scroll down to get clue 17.

Clue 18

Well... since this has now been posted.. I'll point this out..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

http://www.youtube.com/user/fuzzberrys

I found this yesterday.. while looking for "future" pieces...

I did a search on YouTube for "Golden Jigsaw" then clicked on "Date Added" to show the newest first.. and this website had/has a few videos advertising the fact that they had/have a piece..

Found it 7 hours after they posted the video.. (within the 24 hour pre-release of the official clue, give or take)

so I had the 33 pieces last night. Thought I found a hidden one Like a wildcard but not, until I actually saw today's clue. heh

Kinda pissed me off, since I had no piece to find today.. since I found it yesterday.

I will say though. I really enjoyed this website's version of how they hid the piece. I was much more entertained this way than with some of the others.

Clue 18

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the video link under the mail button is a little freaky? It is a birthday video for a 4 year old and the character talks about having 4 fingers, laughs at that fact and next a script that sounds like the phrase "I kill myself, I kill myself" at one point.

I'm not sure what the site thinks it will get from having a piece of the puzzle, going on the prices in the shop they are very very expensive. I print t-shirts for a living and if i tried to charge my customers those prices i wouldn't have any customers.
Also £17 for a 10-15 min chat with one fo the puppets. Rolling Eyes
