I have no clue how to uninstall it whereas it's in Hindi, my whole control panel is in Hindi, Paint is in Hindi, but I was able to figure out how to navigate it with just memory of where might say what! Please if anyone knows how I can fix this problem short of formatting my hard drive please PM me.

You should be able to fix by going into Control Panel (assuming you're using Windows), Regional and Language Options, Regional Options tab (make sure it's English), then Languages tab, Details, and make sure English is set. Hopefully, that will work.

It seems to be set in English. Shocked

Hopefully, you haven't formatted your drive yet. I've checked around and the consensus is that the Hindi Language Pack for XP is crapola--but you already know this now. The only way to get back to default language is to uninstall the pack. You should be able to do this through the Control Panel install/remove programs. If that doesn't work, I'd hate to suggest it, but you'll have to call microsoft. There's nothing in their Knowledge Base that addresses this problem, even though there's a few postings online mentioning it.

EDIT/ Reinstalling Windows xp should also work if the above doesn't.

Thank you! I was finally able to find it and get it uninstalled. Very Happy

When I play games like this I tend to start downloading everything but I've never gotten burned like that before. Embarassed I'm very thankful I didn't try this stunt on my work computer.

Cool. Now you just need to figure out why your browser isn't displaying the proper unicode characters. In the alternative, you could just skip that step and wait for others to post the english version. The conversion itself isn't a clue, so it's not cheating or anything to do that. So far, I haven't seen any useful clues in either the Mezin Source postings, or their emails, anyway.

But I would stop trying to get overly creative. It's not worth the risk. Wink

sorry

LOL Nighthawk, so true, it sure made me feel stupid enough.

Almijisti, thanks for your help and I will search the Knowledge Base and figure it out.

Now this thread can get back OT. Smile

ETA: I can view the email now. My Unicode option was greyed out before, and I didn't have Auto Select picked. Smile
