Hey just a thougt, after watching the videos and reading through your thread, it seems like ".game. .knot.:" in association with chess is dropped at least twice by 138 as a definite clue. There is a free chess site called gameknot. I registered and searched for 138islate. Got this profile:

 		Not dead-dead but sure seeming like it...

Anyway I checked the forums this morning out of boredom and two new threads were up, each empty for the moment though. One for the postcards (which I'm guessing will be up later today) and a video for Day 28 Phase2 which isn't up just yet but will be today is my guess so be on the lookout if anyone's around while I'm at school. Smile

This is probably nothing, but I sort of watched the cassieiswatching thing way back when, and when I read this description of 138, I couldn't help but think of the "Frank" from the West Coast that was the crazy guy in the whole Cassie thing. Especially since Maria linked her first video to the LonelyGirl15 series.

So, you know, roll your eyes at me if you need to (I probably deserve it), but it did strike me as odd. Embarassed

 		the video does sound scripted. plus anyone can go and make something like that up pretty quickly. (the postcards i mean) and really to me the postcards dont look like postcards but sheets of printer paper..

 		I feel like this isn't really an ARG. I've looked through the entire thing, and Maria hasn't just stepped out of the curtain- the curtain is burned, buried, and then stamped on, meaning it's not even there.
I think this is more a la' Lonelygirl, meaning a series of videos created by the author, who's pretending they're real. She denies it's an ARG openly, and talks about the Unforums, so it's either extremely bad taste on her part, or not an ARG at all.
