Personally though, I have never seen a "monster" movie with a gigantic explosion that sends exploding shrapnel into the air. But there's a first for everything.

Just for the record, and it came up elsewhere, but we don't know for sure that a monster caused or is responsible for the explosion, like in an organic sense. It could've busted up some building that exploded, or it could be the military all jacked up after fighting decepticons, firing on the monster. Wink

- I can't think of anything, short of a supertanker full of fuel, that would create an instant explosion eighty stories high.

- There are no supertankers full of fuel in that area. Granted, the East River can probably burst in to flames with a match, but still...

- I have a little belief that the military wouldn't use the equivalent of a 150 kiloton explosive (the size of the explosion was discussed in another blog; I'd have to look it up) in the middle of the city.

To you it's confirmed because you're getting emails back selling you stuff?

I'm willing to bet there's already several dozen CafePress sites selling Slusho shirts as we speak; are they legitimate, too?

You gotta do better than that...

tinag222, would you please add http://www.ff0000.com (Red Interactive Agency) to your list of external/unrelated links. Apparently, they're the ad agency behind the Ethan Has Was Right thing, although they're still not admitting who their client is.

Dates of Photo Postings...

Does anyone know what dates the 3 photos were posted on? I'm working on my site and wanted to make sure I got the dates right. TIA.

Well then provide me with more actual proof and I'll sure move it...but we checked this awhile ago and it reeks of unrelated gamejackiness.

I don't think this one is up for speculation at this stage of things, with it having been exposed as unrelated. The reference post I made was mostly aimed at sites that come up and are attached to a real question of connectivity and then the verdict either way - just to clarify for those who missed it or don't know. If it starts getting more airplay with assumptions it has to do with 1-18, I'l add it. Then again, your post on it above is helpful at least getting it on the table in the right thread ;-p

SpaceSerf is an anagram for CafePress... I guess that supports the alien invasion theory. =)

CAFEPRESS has nine letters in it.

The Main Slusho theme has nine notes in it.

Reminds me of the immortal ARG sleuthing of Milhouse Van Houtten:

"OK, here's what we've got: The Rand Corporation… in conjunction with the saucer people… under the supervision of the reverse vampires… are forcing our parents to go to bed early in a fiendish plot to eliminate the meal of dinner.

We're through the looking glass, here, people…"

Sounds familiar, doesn't it...Cthulu and OvenMitt Cheese...
