First off, we need to define burnt. Will colby take over the world and we all become slaves because of the info i gave? doubtful. Like nicole said, whats going to happen is going to happen.

Absolutely. I even posted earlier why it wouldn't hurt to tell him the signs someone is an alien. What I wouldn't tell him is where it came from. That's unimportant at best and at worst, may lead the baddies to Agent Darkness. I get the vibe that Colby is getting played by Christine, so I would only tell him what he needs to know to save his skin. Colby may be on the up and up, but if we tell him too much too soon and Christine turns out to be an alien (remember, she has a secret) ... yeah you see where I'm going. Its for Colby's own safety that we only tell him stuff as he needs to know it.


The agent sent us that document to warn people. I warned colby. Even though colby knows where the document came from (the agent), it still doesnt mean he knows who the agent is. WE dont even know who it is. We only have speculation. To tell the truth, the 6 rules didnt even come from the agent himself. He claimed he recieved it from someone else. As for christine... we really have no evidence to show Christine is or isnt genuine. Im not even sure if it will be addressed, so as of yet, that might just be over-paranoia... then again maybe not. theres no way to tell right now. She does have a secret, yes. But no clues have been given as to the nature of the secret. It could be that she is really a man (lol) or maybe that shes pregnant. OR it could be that she is an alien... or lying about her dreams. Again.. theres no way to tell. Colby has been groomed as our naive protagonist. I believe he deserves all information available. However trivial it may seem.

True enough, but I also get the feeling at some point we're going to move out of linear mode and into fully interactive mode. At that point our actions won't just unlock the next phase of the story, they become the story. Just something to keep in mind.


if our actions will (eventually) become the story then so be it. That would mean that, from what i told him, colby learned that the agent told us of the 6 "tells", and that the aliens spoke to us of a war, 2 races and the choice to be made. How exactly would this all work negatively against us?

IF he is human, it would only help him to know who is good and who is bad. It tells him there is an agent out there supposedly helping us, so he MAY be a friend in a danger zone. This is life and death for colby. If we can find him someone to help him survive, then Im happy I told him. Again, he needs ALL the help he can get. Not just watered down, strained bits of information.

IF he is an alien, then he already knew about the "tells". He also already knew about us being in contact with the WW (Prophecy address) because someone posted it in the comments of his blog. He would also already know about the war, 2 races, choice, etc. Again, he already knows about the presence of an "agent" who is attempting to aid us.

So... what exactly did I tell him that could specifically work negatively against us? I still believe what I told him was a good move. Not a bad one. Wink

 		Tiny update. Gabriel has responded to me on his student.com page with "soon" after I left a note that I called.

I c&p'ed the summary from the second post of this thread to the wiki. I'll go look at what they're doing for Iris and try and follow that example a little later on.

Look's like she's not an alien, however, Agent Darkness' rules say that aliens cannot physically say "alien". I'm unsure whether that means physically say it aloud or if IMs count too. Anyway I told her about the e-mail we got from the Windwalkers. I didn't see too much harm in it. I told her I might send it to Colby, but I wanted to check with you guys first. What does everyone think. I'm pretty sure we can trust the, so long as someone gets Colby to say "alien".


EDIT - Sorry abou that guys, I didn't even look at the log when I posted it. I'm using Miranda IM and haven't turned on names. Fixed it now. Sorry again.

Nevermind, she already saw the page. It might be helpful to cut down the aim conversations when you paste them because they are hard to read.

i know what i sent to colby could have been risky, but am i the only one thinking giving gabriels # was jumping the gun even more?

i mean..

1.) she had "some guy" call you and say alien cuz she was "scared" to... suspicious #1

2.) its too hard to tell if she waited 3 seconds for the hometown answer... suspicious #2

3.) she obviouisly left herself out of the hand pic. that is definitely suspicious #3.


im almost sold that she is compromised...... i dont trust her. at all. colby would never believe us either.

1. So she had another person who was human call me? Doubtful. I think it was the PM. The voice was identical to Gabriel's, so I think its a case of someone not being prepared or there aren't any females on the PM staff. Either her story that she presented was correct and Colby will be able to validate it or she got some random human being in her office to call me, say alien, and hang up. I'm not sure if you've ever worked in an office environment, but prank calls aren't generally done and if someone asked me to call a random number, say a random word, then hang up, I'd turn around and go back to work. It's just not done.
2. She didn't wait 3 seconds, it was maybe half a second.
3. Maybe. Even I admit, that's a bit of man hands for me.
4. (you missed this one) When I asked her if everything was ok, she didn't say that everything was fine or deny that anything was wrong. She stated that she was disturbed that I thought she was an alien. That means clearly she passed that test.

Look, I did exactly what I said I was going to do. I said "next time I talk to Colby and Christine, I will have them say alien before I tell them anything". I went above and beyond that testing her and you had at least 24 hours to comment on my plan of action before I executed it. If you think my implementation sucks, then I'm sorry to you and the rest of the team.

I'll make you a deal : if Colby confirms it was him who called, you apologize. If it wasn't Colby, I'll quit playing. Deal?
