[META]Should Haas have its own forum?

The Haas subject is brimming over in the "CF with Potential" forum at the moment. It seems there are a lot of people still interested even after they've been told it's not related to Cloverfield's movie trailer.

Are there particular rules about when a subject counts as an ARG for purposes of these forums? So far, we have:

http://www.ethanhaaswasright.com/ (puzzles similar to Myst, video clip cut scenes)
http://ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com/ (picture clues, plot details requiring translation)
http://tritonenterprises.net/ (company press release provides clues)
Four+ discoverable domains showing journal pages predicting an alternate reality future
Email replies to addies for the above (auto-responders plus rare individualized responses)
Plot advancement via temporary outgoing voice mail
http://www.ckrox.com/ (person's room, "more coming soon")

Tomorrow's 8/01, so I suppose it's either gonna blow over or explode.

I my opinion whether or not haas deserves its own forum should depend on what they reveal tommarrow- if its something major that leads t omuch speculation by all means make it its own sub-forum that way itll clean up the CF with potential section before it gets too cluttered.

While I would like it to have its own forum now, I'd have to agree with whitenoise. The reach of this (I think it's safe to call it this:) ARG is going to entirely depend on what is revealed on the all-important day of August 1st. If, say, they stage riots put down by some MiB, then this is definitely a big ARG worthy of its own forum. Even if another site similar to EHWR.com shows, we still know Kelly Graham's email will open up, Triton I think is releasing something (divinusvacations.com?), and of course the Mezin say the date is important to THEIR plans as well, assuming the blog is IG.

We'll have to wait and see, though I hate to do it.

OT: Why are all the ARG's going to explode on 8/1? Triad Genomics, which is slightly more active than this one even in its prologue (both are in prologues, I guess), is officially launching tomorrow. Heck, even Cloverfield will probably have something (NOT RELATED).

I agree, and as soon as tomorrow tells us more about the future of this game, we will act on facilitating said future.

Wow that's an awkward sentence.

Now there.

Hehe it looks like what happens when you translate directly from english to french or visa versa on babel fish.

If tommarrow leads to more interaction with characters that means this becomes a full fledge ARG and deserves its own subforum like the others. Regardless I cant wait for tommarrow. Though I do feel the most elaborate rickroll ever comming on:P
