The Authenticity of Zone 67 and password fun! They're probably just trying to make me look like a fool Zone 67
Hi! umm, i was just curious if anyone could help me with finding out if...
1)this is officially linked to iris and
2)what the password is.
Also consider location if you do a whois on this because I really think those FCC locations we have are going to come into play... (I'd do this but I'm simply not internet suave. I JUST learned how to make the above link! )

True, but basic just means that this could of been a server set up by a different character if anything (in all honesty I'm just really curious if there is really a password. It's a mystery site! )

someone posted it up on the bungie forums and noone followed the lead... I'm reading up on it now and I'm thinking it's authentic. It was an address for a halo website before and now when you got to it allaroundhalo.org you just go straight to that. I don't think a whole halo fansite would just change into this for no reason. well... this is what I'm coming up with as I search online
Go to the forum archive of their site, everything stops in march which is probably when it went down (and would be a good time for them to be planning this [/paranoia].... it's odd regardless and I really can't tell you how someone else came across it but they found it yesterday

I don't think this is IG... the text on the site is taken verbatim from an exchange between a Spartan and a Sentinel in the latest Halo novel, Ghosts of Onyx . I'd think the PMs would be a bit more original and a bit less obvious than that.

that's the thing that was bugging me... especially with the "reclaimer" bit. still... this site bugs me. that and you never did know what the proper response to that was because the spartan got it wrong.

Your right. After a little memory searching, I typed in non sequitur, what the sentinel said to the spartan, and it game me
Quote:
Non sequitur. Reclassification of target as non-Reclaimer. Aboriginal subspecies. Collect for further analysis - else neutralize as possible infection vector. Tick Tock
I'll find my GoO book and see if anything else works.
edit* I tried some of the words that the sentinel said and nothing came up. Also, this is weird, after I typed in non sequitur I could not get the page to load with the password prompt. It just loads with the access denied screen. I cleared my cache and it still does that. I don't know what happened.

There is a proper counterresponse in GoO... I just finished it but I dont have the book with me if anyone wants to look it up. The main Covvie guy says it when the sentinels question his fleet at Onyx but he gets rejected cuz its too late or something.

I've been to the site before. After about 150 unsuccessful passwords it will redirect to the first server

I just looked that part up. It wasn't the main Elite but one of the ship masters on another ship. He quotes something from the covenant history. If you have the halo 2 special edition, you can find what he says in one of the scenes that was cut from the game. The sentinels response was
Quote:
Rescue phase concluded. Threat-analysis phase concluded. Reclaimant request for Shield World access...denied. Initiating outer defense program.

I think we can only try one password so I haven't tried yet... I'm waiting to think of something with 7 digits that I'd think would be good
