ARG playing nerds like us are not the target market for Hotel-condos in Orlando, unless it's some sort of "fantasy island" type thing (which would be cool, but still waaay expensive). Anyway, both Royama and Red Interactive are big-bucks to spend on a table-top RPG.

You know, this could all be some sort of weird sociological experiment, and we're just a bunch of guinea pigs.

This is the hotel/resort thing that is mentioned by Tomm on Royama. I have already emailed Royama to see if they will reply.

That's a real place you know. There are user comments from people who stayed there, posted to travel sites, going back into like 2005.

Well Royama did work for them, and MSL. Both MSL and WorldQuest have Tomm's name attached to them.

Yes, we've been over this multiple times. Use the search to find it all.

heh I was thinking about this when I was reading over the mindstorm labs webpage talking about a revolutionary roleplaying game with no dice or set abilities...maybe----if alpha omega is real--- it'll be something similar to perplexcity but last more than 1 season

MSL is a fake company. It is no more real than Triton, Ethan Haas, or the Mezin.

There have been no updates for almost 2 months now on their site in reference to their game. For something that has garnered this much interest it would be some sort of suicide to not tap into the traffic they get there and try and sell the product. From a business standpoint, they do not practice good, money making business.

Except if Ethan Haas Was Right is a promotion for their RPG, coming out and saying "We sure are glad you're enjoying our ARG!" would make no sense.

ETA: Try to remember, we were never supposed to know about MSL. The only reason we know about them is because Tom McLaughlin (most likely, anyway) used for Van Mantra's street address an address that could be traced directly to Tom McL.

Had that mistake not been made, we never would have known anything about Mind Storm Labs.

Is that true? Didn't someone at another site make the connection to Mind Storm Labs through the apparently similar pic for Alpha Omega and the background image of the destroyed city at EHWR? Not that that wasn't a mistake on their part, but I'm not sure who made the connection first, that's all.

That comparison was done days after the address discovery.

It's important to get this clear: The address was the ONLY way we found ourselves looking at MSL at all. Once that connection was seen and posted, it spread, the puppetmasters changed Van's address and deleted the old wedding blog which linked the address to Tom, and people started looking for more connections between EHWR and MSL.

That's when the image comparison hit.

See now thats what I was saying. Mindstorm was never a front, Ethan Haas was the front for Mindstorm not the other way around. Sorry folks but that well wasnt even remotely as deep as all of you thought. I knew there was wayyy to much digging and topic-jacking going on. Erik Haas indeed, I knew that was bullcrap. Oh well, its good to learn the lesson the hard way. In the future you will know about ARG-jackers now. I admit I was totally wrong cause I thought they were completely unrelated, but it turns out they were related to Mindstorm. Nonetheless I hope this experience helps everyone learn a little about ARGs and how they can be deep and involved, but a team of 100 people can dig a lot deeper than a 10 man puppet show. Good job ferreting out Mindstorm to those who did, however. CU next ARG.

I actually really wish this was a serious ARG, because it would have been awesome...but no...just some bullcrap marketing campaign that lasted all of a month.
